This site has been under new ownership since February 2023. The new owners have refurbished the shower block and replaced all of the electric hook up points along with a number of other changes.

Popped by yesterday as we were passing. I didn't realise it had been taken over.
Met with the new owner who is very friendly and welcoming and was keen to show me the improvements they had made, firstly the toilet block has been completely refitted to a high standard and is very clean and bright.
The actual campsite still looks as scenic but has been improved by the use of some graveled entrance tracks to assist in the wetter seasons.
We will definitely be booking of for some stays there next year.
Well done to the new owners.

We have just returned from a 2 night break at Teds. We were a group of 6 families all with small children and a dog. We can not fault the campsite.
The children have loved seeing the peacock, chickens and donkeys. The owners would drive round and check on everyone and take the rubbish periodically throughout the day and night.
They also made sure there wasn’t any loud music being played so the littles weren’t kept awake at night time. Ted even drove down and gave each child a peacock feather that had been discarded.
The toilets were always clean and stocked up and the site is well maintained.
The whole group had a great weekend and we will definitely be returning.

Nice quiet site with great, clean facilities. Very welcoming on arrival and a good choice of spots to choose from due to it being a decent size site.
Toilet/shower blocks are tidy with hot water if required from an outside tap and a separate sink unit available for washing up if required.
No noise at all despite it being a busy weekend and the farm animals and peacocks are a great sight to see.

Super quiet simple site, lots of space and open field for our children.
Incredibly friendly owners who brought to life farming for our kiddies… collecting eggs, digging up potatoes, tractor rides (and feeding the sheep and donkeys!).
Great views too. We loved every minute of it. Hx

Ted's is a fantastic place to stay, we were on holiday with our daughter and grandkids.
Could not have been a better site for all ages. We were in a caravan and daughter and grandkids in a tent and we were able to have two pitches together.
Loved the site, the facilities, the owners (who could not have been more welcoming) even the dog had a great time.
Thanks Ted for a great holiday.

This is the best campsite I have ever been to! It so nice, on a hill, all surrounded by green fields, in the middle of nature.
The toilet and shower facilities are very clean.
There are lambs, chickens and a couple of peacocks for children to see, and plenty of space for them to play. It is a quiet campsite where people are friendly and helpful.
The owner, Ted, is an absolute star and so welcoming and helpful. The people who help him run the campsite are also amazing, Hazel, Carl, Donna, Carol. Ted is no doubt a people's person who clearly works hard to keep the campsite in excellent condition. He is so approachable and he always goes the extra mile to provide an excellent service to campsite users.

A lovely peaceful site with beautiful views. Very well kept site with very clean toilet block.
Ted and Carol were lovely too. Grandchildren came to visit and had a whale of a time looking at chickens, piglets, ducks etc.
We were able to choose our own pitch which was great.
Coop 5 min drive away. Indian restaurant nearby delivered to us on site.
Definitely value for money.
We will definitely be going back regularly.
