Chose this site for a fishing break staying 7 nights, fishing excellent with 2 very well stocked pools, though 1 is very weedy in places, top pool perhaps has the better specimens, feeding dog biscuits on top with controller float gave me my days best sport with 33 good sized carp in just over 2 hours. Site itself is attractive, with good fruit trees in the orchard where the vans are set. Toilet block is clean but very dated and a little sad, ( would benefit from updating. ) The pitches and area surrounding them could do with the grass being cut, (when we were there) and this resulted in thistles in abundance! Which was uncomfortable to walk through in sandles The site is very reasonable priced though and fishing prices the same. If in the area again I would return. The owner is a very kind, friendly and helpful man which is a big plus for the site.

We were in trouble with a boat that I bought on ebay out of the blue and we needed a place to stay with our caravan to be able to get to work on it in Brundall. The owner of the site is a great gent and very welcoming. As we turned up the first we saw was a lovely little on site grocery shop and cafe with all veg locally grown by the owner. The grounds are lovely and have great apple trees which make the orchard on the site. Washing facility`s are basic and toilets are clean and usable, only thing would be good for campers is a shower block. There are a lot of birds and wildlife around the site and area which includes the well stocked fishing lakes on site. This site is convenient to both Norwich and Yarmouth. We enjoyed the whole stay and will be returning back this year for sure as the place is GREAT.
THANKS TO THE OWNER :¬)

Lovely site in an orchard, with a couple of fishing lakes behind some conifers. Yes there is noise from the A47 which is close by, but as it is constant it soon seems to become unnoticeable. Very laid back owner, most friendly welcome, you can pay at the little farm shop which is open Friday and Saturday if he is not about. The shop seemed very popular with locals, are there are no shops in the vicinity. Plenty of wildlife and birds around, and if you have a dog some wonderful walks from the Church just a few minutes away.
If you want a relaxing break this is perfect, there are clean toilets if you need them with CDP and water of course. Great location for Norwich, the broads and the coast, easy to find and being close to the A47 most accessible to the road networks for travelling. All for £10 a night including electricity, fishing is £5 extra, it would be good if they did an inclusive deal if you just want to fish for an hour or two here and there. We had a lovely 3 day break there.
(Have rated lower for child friendly as there are ponds close by, you would certainly need to keep young ones away from them)
