Excellent facilities + well set up campsite. Really friendly customer service.
Close to the A5 so some road noise but easy to find.
Quite a sharp entrance + struggled a bit with the gate.
Visiting a friend so couldn't comment on local amenities but seems close + easy to get to.

Lovely site, immaculate facilities, friendly owners. Very convenient for the A5 although, as you'd expect there is some road noise. Take care with the entrance gate as it is narrow and there is a sharp bend to get in.
Highly recommended, we'd certainly stay again.

Lovely site with clean washrooms and well kept grounds.
We walked in and back out of Oswestry on a paved path along the old road going into town.
Yes there is a bit of road noise!
Secure camping area.

This place is great, I stayed here twice in their camping pods. They have five currently, but it looks like they are making space to put some more in. If you are looking for just a few romantic or lazy days away I would thoroughly recommend the luxury pod. It has a double bed, TV/DVD and plenty of tea / coffee / hot chocolate.
Just down the lane (turn right out of the main gate) are a few places to walk across farm land. Oswestry hill fort is a great place to check out and only about 20-30 minutes walk away (mind the cows if you are a dog owner!) The site is also within short driving distance of many attractions the Llangollen canal and the famous aqueduct, Whittington Castle (a lovely FREE place to visit!), Pistyll Rhaeadr (UKs tallest single drop waterfall) set in beautiful surroundings with a lovely cafe with friendly staff! Many more besides!
The owners often visit the site to check things over and if they aren't around there are plenty of cards with their numbers on if yo need anything.

Have used this site twice now, once in 2012 and again in 2013. A nice little site fairly close to a roundabout on the main trunk road but didn't really notice much traffic noise.
We only use the site for a one night stopover on our way to or from North Wales in our 2 berth caravan and in my opinion is excellent for this purpose, so, sorry do not know anything about attractions in the area.
The small site is slightly sloping with 5 hook ups but plenty of space for 5 caravans. There are also camping pods in an enclosed area next to the caravan field. We have peeked inside and they look very inviting! each has a table and bench seat outside.
The new toilet and shower room is an excellent clean and modern addition. Caravanners have to pay extra if deciding to use this facility, but well worth the extra as the site fee is not expensive. There is also a chemical waste disposal but no level grey waste disposal.
My orange dongle works fine on my computer for emails etc.
The owners are not present on site. They can be contacted easily by telephone.

A relatively new CL with plans for the future. 5 double EHU points well spaced out on slightly sloping field. Best to pitch nose in and have view across fields as pitching normally gives view of A5 roundabout. Fresh water, rubbish bins and chemical disposal on edge of farm building. No floor level grey water disposal. If you have a large unit take care turning into gate, maximum size they take is 8m, my caravan is 7. 92m and found turn in very tight although plenty of room to swing around and position for exit which was much easier. Owners do not live on site but contactable by telephone. They have plans to develop the site and I would suggest moving the CL one field back would greatly improve the situation and reduce road noise. Enjoyed a relaxing 3 nights stay and used as a base to visit local towns and NT at Chirk Castle. £12 night including EHU.
