 We stayed here in July, the site is quiet at night and very easy going the grass was cut and the field is quite flat. BUT when we arrived the bins had not been emptied for ages (overflowing and maggots). The elsan point is a manhole cover straight over a cess pit it smelt awful. When we complained about the bins it took 2 complaints before anything was done, then he turned up with a large JCB digger and filled the bucket. Rubber gloves for the Elsan point are essential. It is a very basic site but with more care would be great

This is a great site in the new forest area located about 300 yards to the rear of a very well stocked farm shop/butchers. The area has much to offer with the south coast's clean bathing waters and good clean sand castle sand. The site for five unit's is gently sloping, well drained, good quality, mowed grass paddock surrounded by pony fields on two sides and conifer hedges to the rear with great views of the surrounding woodlands. This site is well sheltered, dark, peaceful at night with very little road noise. The bins, water and elsan loo disposal point are all located for easy access in the corner. The plastic awning pegs held well in the ground on this site even after heavy rain. The owner's are friendly. Great value site at just £6 per night for pitch with no hidden extra awning, car, people, dog or pop up tent charges. No electric hookups.
