Booked this caravan park based on the fact that it is a CL with the Caravan Club, the two previous reviews on UK campsite and also the website for the site itself. I was very disappointed with the site which I am afraid bore no resemblance to the website or indeed the two previous reviews. One of the reasons that this site was booked was that it had both toilets and a shower. Yes it did have a shower, toilet and a basin. These were contained within a breeze block shell without windows or any other form of ventilation. The interior was also breeze block not tiles/plastic cladding etc which one would expect with a bathroom type room. Couple this with no shower door/curtain, no toilet paper or anything to dry you hands on etc this really was poor. If you advertise yourself as having this facility then at the very least have something which someone could actually use and at the very least the expectation that some very basic hygiene standards were observed. Oh I forgot if you wanted a shower in this facility you had to pay the sum of £1. 00. The owner clearly states on their website that the facility is up to the standard of Caravan Club standards I am afraid it is not.

The site itself has 6 pitches on the CL with another 8 pitches on an adjacent area which appear to be used as seasonal(One toilet/ shower room for 13 caravans!) The site itself was unkempt and not the idyll which the website claims. There is nothing within walking distance the nearest pub is at least a mile away which is unsafe to walk on the road to. Not a pleasant experience we will not be returning.

Our friend recommended this site to us, and we've returned numerous times since our first visit in September.

It's just the perfect place for us & our dog, with the added bonus that the site is open all year round!.

The site is clean, organised and peaceful, with lots of wildlife and birds, (so take your binoculars!. )

There's a lovely walk from the site down to the estuary, you can see the estuary from the site, so it's easy to check if the tide is in or out!.

The views across the hills, the sunrises & sunsets are beautiful, along with plenty of places/beaches to visit not far from the site, Lligwy Beach being only 6 mins in the car!.

The Pilot Boat pub is just up the road, the food is really good, with plenty of choice!.

Also, The Smoker is around the corner to the site, we had some lovely smoked fish, also David who is there has DVD's of underwater film footage he's taken from around the Menai Bridge and Puffin Island, great to show the kids what's living down there, very interesting!

The owners who run the Dulas site are very friendly and helpful and we're sure they'll have great success with it!. Also, while your there, take a look at the B&B's that they also run, you will be blown away with the standard, the whole place is just stunning!.

See you there

We stayed two weeks at this very new site. The owner was friendly and very helpful, even offering to help us move the caravan at one stage if we wanted to change position! There is good access through a working farm, no narrow tracks to negotiate!

Excellent size pitches with sufficient room to put up an awning on the hardstanding or the grass that surrounds each pitch. There was a tap on each EHU, so with the right adapter you can have mains water.

The view of the bay is partly obscured by trees, but together with the bank it ensures that the site is very sheltered. You can walk to the bay directly from the site by a footpath, part of which was a little overgrown, but quite accessible.

The bay, like many of Anglesey's beaches is undeveloped and completely unspoilt. Being away from any main roads, the site was very peaceful and full of wildlife, we were visited every day by numerous types of birds, including a greater spotted woodpecker, we later realised it was a family of woodpeckers when we saw them feeding a fledgling.

There is a pub about 1/2 mile away, can't comment as we didn't go but were told the meals were very good. There didn't appear to be any shops within walking distance but there is a co-operative supermarket and various other shops in Almwch, 3-4 miles away and Aldi, Asda etc. Etc in Llangefni.

Definitely recommend a stay here if you want a peaceful relaxing holiday.
