 The site is a few minutes from the edge of Honiton, off the A35 and is easy to find. The field is flat and easy to access through a gate from the road. The owner is very welcoming.
Whilst the site is basic, it has everything we need. It now has a toilet and wash basin that was clean and well kept. This, and the water, is a short walk from the field, through one gate.
Tesco is not too far away to refuel and stock-up. Honiton town centre is about a 1. 5 mile walk, but uphill coming back!

The site is easy to find and very close to the A35. It consists of a long field and costs £5/night. For this you get no electricity (The site has none at all).
Getting drinking water and emptying the loo is a pain as there is a fair distance to carry it plus you have to bend under a couple of gates. There is a free-standing shed that has a toilet in it but it is a little tumble-down.
It had been raining the day before and we had to use grip-mats just to get in through the gate. Beware.
There are no footpaths so walking is restricted.
Overall a convenient stopover point, but that is all.
