Just returned from weymouth bay and it was brilliant site. Was very clean with staff keeping on top off everything. Reception staff were only to eager to help with anything. The caravan was outstanding, very clean and tidy well worth a visit.

In reception there were a few people complaining that their vans hadn't been cleaned so started to worry, but didn't need to. Ours was very modern in a great location, with it's own little parking space.
Main bedroom was bigger than ours in the house! sliding mirrored wardrobes and the bed had been made. Few of the window frames were damaged/falling off but that was it.
Very nice outside pool and seating area, but pool wasn't open in May. Indoor pool was nice and they do the walking balls but think it's about £5 and you have to book.
Entertainment area was small and the entertainment on the Sat eve was awful, the room emptied before 9pm it was so bad.
In the other area/eatery/bar on the Fri eve one of the entertainment staff came in and did karoke, (not my scene but there was lots of dancing and better singers that on the Sat eve, we would have gone back into this bar but it was taken over by a owners evening.
Play area for kids is fab so is the indoor arcade.

We spent the weekend here having booked online the night before. Our caravan was spacious and clean but the pillows and quilts weren't as spotless as I'd expect, but not really worth making a fuss about. We had lovely views of the hills on one side and a patio and grassy area bordered by a hedge behind us where we put the dogs out on a spike and it was really quiet. We didn't use many of the facilities but found the evening entertainment was excellent. The Haven team were lively and good fun and the cabaret acts were brilliant. The only gripe I would have is that the team took every opportunity to 'sell' their products ie magic bubbles, watches, balloons etc. Having paid a high price for the holiday I didn't want pressure to buy my child all these goodies. The onsite shop was very expensive but we found a supermarket quite close by. The walk through to Bowleaze Cove was easy & pleasant.

My husband,my children and I go to Weymouth every year it is a fantastic place. We have stayed at various sites. We have never had cause to complain anywhere before, until we came here. The site was lovely but the caravan was not. Somebody was sent later to 'clean' but we still had to give it a going over afterwards.I would also like to point out that we decided to pay extra this year for a 'prestige' caravan.
The mattress was so worn that you could feel every spring. My back was terrible the next day.Again we have never experienced this problem before. When we went to complain,we heard somebody else complaining that their caravan was filthy. The girl on the desk phoned housekeeping to tell them about our mattress. She came off the phone and said all they could offer was a duvet on top of the mattress.I told her this was not good enough as we had paid nearly £600 and that I wanted to make an official complaint. She then rang them again and suddenly they where able to help and could actually get us another mattress.
I have to point out again that yes the site was lovely, and cleanliness within and around the complex was good.It was simply the state of the actual caravan itself and the state of the mattresses.

Just returned from a week here. The weather was great and the caravan we hired was splendid, with everything needed for a family holiday. The site itself is enormous, with an excellent entertainment complex, which was not too busy when we were there, but would probably be so in English school holidays. Our grandson aged 5 enjoyed himself but we had to go with him as it would have been very easy for him to get lost. Haven keep the site tidy but the statics are crammed on too tightly for us. The row we were in had up to six statics behind our caravan (which bordered the road), so the holiday makers behind had no chance of parking their cars next to the vans. The only view they had was of the van in front of them (about eight feet away!). We enjoyed a cheap holiday in a good caravan, but would hesitate to stay there in high season and at high season prices! The surrounding area is beautiful with plenty to see and do.
