 Very friendly and helpful staff.

Food in the ship inn excellent value for money, recommend to book with it being popular.

Good site, lovely views and walks along the tops or beach to centre or flamborough (didn't walk but told its a good walk). Dog friendly.

Highly recommended.

No hook up and toilets only open when the pub is open so own facilities needed but I knew this when booking but wasn't a problem for me

We turned up on spec, should have booked on-line from their website first. Very friendly and helpful staff, they let us park up and go on-line to book.

Great pitch looking out to sea.

Nice easy walk into Bridlington along coast top. Lovely beach. A land train nearby runs most of the day into Bridlington and back.

You can walk to Flamborough along cliff tops.

Site fee £30 which includes a voucher of £15 for food or drinks in the pub. Limited menu at moment and only doing lunch. Had a lovely stottie lunch.

Was told could use facilities at pub until closing time, so it is necessary to have your own.

Definitely recommend The Ship.

This site is in a favourite position of mine, close to the edge of the cliffs overlooking the North Sea to the front, Bridlington to the right and Flamborough and the cliffs to the left.

This is an exposed site due to its location, however if you can live with a bit of wind then this is a gem.

There are steps down to the beach and the walk into Bridlington for essential supplies, and the seaside fun of the fair, is just one mile away and fairly flat. To the left you can walk for miles and I enjoy walking to Flamborough head, which is around 4 miles along the cliff path.

Very friendly staff and they are very dog friendly too, offering all sorts of treats for your doggy friends including a dedicated dog menu for food !

The pub is lovely and the food is great with plenty of choices for all. There is a large play area for the kids in the garden, and the garden itself is huge and plenty of choices of tables on offer

The price is the one thing that would put me off staying more than one night, and that is down to the fact that is £30 for the night. However this includes £15 to spend in the pub, which is great, so it brings it down to £15, however only if you have a few pints or something to eat every night, which sometimes people don't want.

Great location with all that Bridlington has to offer on the doorstep, with Filey, Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay and the Moors all within a short drive again.

There are lots of sites in the area, so if eating or drinking in a pub every night is not your thing, then there might be better options for you.

This caravan and motorhome site is set in a wonderful location on the cliff overlooking the North Sea and Bridlington.

This is a pub site, so of course you get drinkers in there that are not camping, and yes you get people walking past the camping area to access the cliffs and of course walker who want to come to the pub. This is not a problem for me.

The field itself is big and we did find the grass was quite long, but it was dry so we were ok.

There is plenty to keep the younger ones entertained in the

Games room which has air hockey, slot machines, push penny machines etc. And in the pub itself is a pool table.

In the large garden for the pub you will also fine a decent playground with swings, a slide and a climbing frame.

The pub offers reasonably priced food and the menus looked good and the food looked good that we saw being brought out to others, but we did not eat there so cannot comment on the taste. There is also an outdoor hut offering burgers, hot dogs, etc.

There was a good selection of beers, wine and the usual spirits on offer and the staff were friendly and helpful.

There are toilet available but only during pub hours and there are no showers, so your own amenities are required. The toilets were clean and worked fine when we used them.

The campsite and pub is also very dog friendly especially as you have the walks along the cliff tops just a stones throw from the site where one can walk to the town of Bridlington or the other way to Danes Dyke, Flamborough Head, etc.

Bridlington has all you need from larger supermarkets, to the usual seaside shops and a huge amount of chippies, restaurants, pubs, etc.

It states 5 motorhomes only there was 9 on the second night. no e/hook up no showers, no toilets only the pubs, no elsan disposable empting pint,

the grass was a foot high, it's only a grass car park for pub visitors so cars parked all around our motorhome, members of the public cutting through to go to the pub so no privacy ect.

One night young male riding round car park on mini motorbike, all this for £15 yes £15 pound a night.

Very pricy, the good points nice view looking out to sea, nice walk into bridlington along the cliff top, or along the beach, or catch the land train from sewerby hall next to site for £7 return for 2 adults.

Would we go again yes if it was £5 a night, as I said you have to have all your own amenities, and empty your toilet when you get back home.
