This is a safe and clean site. But you pay for this! We stayed for 4 nights and had a very relaxing time. There is a fabulous camping shop in Bergjik (sp? ) which is an easy cycle away and worth a trip! Be aware that the campsite only takes cash ( as does most of Holland) As mentioned in previous reviews, this is a fantastic site for little kids. My 11 year old enjoyed it, but it became limiting and a bit samey for him. However, I wish I had known about this site several years ago as it is awesome for little ones. Take some mossie spray as I got bitten quite badly - but that is not really the campsites fault :)

This site is fantastic. We found it by chance in 2013 and stayed a week. We loved it so much we came back in 2014 for two weeks. Tried to book it this year but unfortunately they were full, we were most disappointed.
If you have kids 10 and under then this is the place for you. The site is massive but it never feels crowded. The site is divided up into areas of around 10 pitches each with a small children's play area in the middle. Pitches are huge!
There is then a central area which has a restaurant, cafe, supermarket, wifi, massive play area, petting zoo and indoor and outdoor theatre!
The kids entertainment program was really varied and although everything was in Dutch the staff where really helpful and translated everything for our daughter who was 6 when we visited here.
The pool areas were great. Indoor 'fun' wet area, kids 'fun' pool with a small, shoulder deep pool. The outdoor pools were heated and one was all sponge floors for the kids with slides and there was a separate large swim pool.
Loads of sun loungers and areas to chill.
Around the site there is also a 20, 000 square foot beach, bike tracks, bouncy pillows and indoor play area.
There is also a gym and horse riding centre 100meters away that you can pay to use.
For bike rides this is spot on. The site is in the middle of two towns (both about 2miles away) and there are plenty of places to eat or get a lovely ice cream. Also supermarkets at both.
The toilet blocks are the best we have ever seen, and my husband is picky! They are unisex but all individual. So you can have a shower on its own or pick a family cubicle which has a shower, separate bath and a sink.
They are regularly cleaned and always spotless.
It is also good as a base to go to Germany, Amsterdam or Antwerp. We visited Efteling park which was fantastic. Basically the original Disney, well worth a trip. There is also a safari park about 50mins away which was a great day out as you not only walk through but then can drive your car through the enclosures!
We generally like small sites as like a bit of piece and quiet and not too many kids but this site is just fantastic and I would go as far as saying the best site we have been on in all the countries we have visited.

I can't rate this site highly enough! We have two children aged 7 and 10 and this campsite was great for them and us. Pitches are either in small fields or in the pine forest. Suggest larger units aim for a field pitch. Lots of little play areas dotted about the site and one giant play area in the centre. The toilet blocks were clean, with family showers and baths, amd toilet paper. Washing up facilities also had a microwave for warming baby food. This site was for families and the facilities were brilliant, the largest play sand pit we have ever seen, waterpark style swimming area, with soft landings, flumes and adult only pool. Plenty of free loungers and chairs. There was an amphitheatre with family shows at child friendly times. Kids club. The restaurant and bar were good and reasonable prices. A well stocked shop and excellent laundry facilities. Bicycle hire was also reasonable and bikes were the ideal way to travel around the site. The owners of this site should be proud of what they've achieved. We stayed for two brilliant weeks and would go back again.

This site is brilliant if you have kids 10 and under. It is by far the best family site we have stayed on in Europe. It has over 500 touring pitches which are arranged in fields of about 20. Each field has its own kids play equipment of swings, sand pit and slides. The vans are parked accross the pitch round the edges so there is space for kids to play.
It is easy to reach with about a 2 hour drive from Amsterdam or Rotterdam. It is situated in a lovely area with really nice market towns of Eersel and Berjeick close by.
The pitches are large and we had a pitch with its own private bathroom behind. This was equivalent in standard to a 5 star hotel. All pitches have their own water, waste and TV connection. Power is 6 amp so watch what electrical items you are using. We normally set the water heater to the lowest wattage and don't use everything at once. You can pay extra for a connection up to 16A. All pitches are grass and as is typical of most Dutch sites they are a bit sandy. I would recommend bringing a plastic groundsheet for under the awning carpet as the pitches do tend to get a bit worn and flattened down. You will have plenty of space to spread out.
The facilities for children are great. A huge 40000 square metre sand dune area with tunnels, forts, beams, rivers, volleyball and pirate ship has to be seen to be believed. There is also a massive inflatable pillow for bouncing on.
The swimming pool indoor aquadrolics is brilliant for younger kids. There is an outdoor pool with a play whale and family slide. This is rubber coated and ideal for kids. There is also a large proper swimming pool and two flumes.
There is a huge central adventure playground which is thankfully overlooked by the restaurant/bar. There is other play equipment dotted about the site. The site also has its own outdoor theatre and puts on daily shows. The animation team are really good and there is always activities for kids to do. This is mainly in Dutch but they make sure English speaking kids are included.
The bar/restaurant/take away/shop complex is good. The shop is as cheap if not cheaper than local supermarkets which is great. It is also well stocked.
The toilet blocks are some of the best you will ever see on a campsite with block 3 being the best I have seen. They have showers, baths, family rooms with small showers and variations in between. You can also get your own private bathroom in a toilet block or as we did have it behind your pitch.
The staff are all really friendly and helpful. The site is predominantly Dutch campers and we were one of 3 british vans on site during the summer. In high season you can officially only arrive on a Wednesday and Saturday but if you contact the site directly they will do their best to accomodate any arrival date.
The Dutch know how to do relaxing family camping. Although the site is huge it never felt busy or noisy. Familys are well behaved and we saw no rowdy behaviour as would be expected on a British site with similar facilities. Due to most campers habing younger kids it was almost silent by 2130 every night.
The site is relatively expensive and works out at £45 to £60 a night in high season. It is more than worth the price tag for the relaxing family holiday you will get. I can't recommend this site highly enough and they make sure everything is done to make it good. If you are there when they do splashball with the local fire brigade make sure you don't miss it.
We have booked for next year already. Please note that the site doesn't take credit cards at all. You have to pay by bank transfer or book through the Caravan Club where you can make card payments. If you book direct then you get to pick your pitch. Some pitches are open and others under trees so your personal preference will be accomodated.
