 Great location for us as we went to the festivals in Malden
Really nice site however we weren't told about where anything was by the owner who let us in, had to ask fellow campers plus our electric run out as it was on a card which we weren't offered on arrival.
Bit of a shame but would go back now we know

Nice quiet site with good bus service, bus stop right outside.
Friendly chap saw us to our pitch and settled in.
Suited us well for our stay and purpose.

Lovely site, lovely staff made us feel welcome, load of places to go within a few a miles.
We didn’t have children with us but I’m sure they would love the big field to play in.

Stayed here for a week visiting relatives. There are plenty of footpaths close to the site taking you in to Maldon where there are shops and a park with activities for children. Walking through fields or along the coastline. Handy for visiting Northey Island (National Trust - call first for permit only accessible at low tide). Plenty of shops in Maldon including a good supermarket. Bus service to Maldon although it is walkable, about 2. 5 miles.
Electricity topped up by owner with card, £5 or £10. £10 lasted us the week not much heating required when we were there.
Toilet cabin not luxurious but functional and clean, given the price I considered them more than adequate.
Easy drive to the site, no narrow roads.
For a CL this site was ideal for us, realistically priced and well presented.
Enjoyed our stay!
