Nice place for camping, very clean, family run site. The camping section is only small but lovely, surrounded by trees with a stream running just behind. I would go back for another visit. Be aware though very narrow roads leading up to the site from the village, a bit scary, especially at night!

A lovely little site - as everyone else has said, it's well situated, clean and very friendly with no bar, playground or anything so nice and quiet. We were there for 9 days and loved it. We were backing onto the little river which you can hear tumbling over the rocks. Beautiful woods opposite the site entrance which you can walk through to Ashburton town which has most of what you would want, including a walking shop and a very good camping shop.

A few years ago
We stayed here for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's small and quiet (apart from the sound of the small river). Lovely spot, lots of trees & great walks for dogs just across the lane. Proprietors are very friendly and helpful. A fabulous site.

Beautifully located on the edge of the National Park. Pat the owner runs a nice site. Immaculate toilet facilities and eh! reluctant to take our money in advance. How refreshing! Nice river and pretty woods.

We camped at this park over the weekend of 14th June and found it to be idyllic.
It is everything the website suggests, very peaceful and very clean with friendly hosts. We will be going back for longer next time. Apart from being on Dartmoor which is a bonus anyway, the site is only 25 mins from Exeter, Plymouth or Torquay so there is unlimited things to do.
