A warm welcome. Had everything I needed for one nights stay.
In a good position for visiting Cambridge or Newmarket.
Would use again if visiting the area.

In the past I've stayed here and it is very convenient for Newmarket.
Very quiet, loos and showers fine.
I would happily stay there again.

Stayed one night as part of a group attending a wedding at the venue, some camped, some stayed in the shepherd huts & others in the rooms on-site,
Welcoming staff, all campers set up on field, with ample room to do so, a toilet with a shower next to camping area clean and light.
There were several benches to sit at and a sandpit for children to play in.
We had a really lovely day with afternoon tea & a BBQ in the evening, had fun in the double decker bus, a bar downstairs & karaoke upstairs.
The food was all really nice, good quality, cooked nicely, loved the chilli jam chicken !
Staff were welcoming, attentive & helpful.
A recommended venue for camping & great as an outdoor wedding venue.

Well what can we say about this excellent place.
We overnighted, but this soon became 2 night.
The owners are very welcoming, and laid back, the public house is very tastefully decorated and equipped, with what I can only describe as a mix of old and new, and holds something for every one.
The outside has lots of seating and chill out areas.
The menu in the pub is excellent, and we chose to have a meal, wife, daughter and I, quality was excellent, price was very reasonable, and service very good
We stayed on the grass pitchers out the back, all having electric and ample space to park our large motorhome. However there are hard standings in the car park to the side, again with electric hook ups.
There is a shower room / toilet, that are very clean and well kept.
There is a dog, and being a dog lover, expected to see it roaming around, however only saw it to say a quick hello, once,
Well key points for me are Friendly / clean / good price / not far from where I needed to be. Will be going back

Strange site. No-one around on arrival and we wandered round the pub/restaurant looking for someone. When we found someone we were warned on arrival by site owner(?) that they had a dog which didn't like other dogs.
Shower and toilet and wash basin have glass doors and are in same space. The door to the space is also glass and people emerging from shower can be seen from outside after dark. Also, shower/toilet light has habit of going off mid business, although it comes on again when you move.
Alsation wandering loose round bar when we went to pay.
Work in progress on site. Needs more attention to detail.

The pitching area is a functional rectangular space directly behind the pub. There are also a couple more hardstanding pitches to one side of the large car park.
The single shower (free) / wc facility is conveniently located on the back of the main building and is open 24 hours. In CL terms it is a superb facility. Whilst it is heated, the radiator seems to be connected to the main building’s system so was not on in the mornings when you need it most. This was only apparent to us as we stayed during a particularly cold 1st week in April, otherwise we would probably have not noticed.
The pub describes itself as “. Quirky. ”, personally I would have not used that word. It has a very elaborate and modern interior design with a substantial and notably well landscaped outside area. It is all very comfortable, has a very interesting menu (see their website), and is very professionally run. These people have not forgotten that they are in the hospitality industry. Well worth a visit.
Dogs welcome, but you have to make sure that Mason the resident dog is out of the way as he is not that friendly to other dogs. Also we could not find a traffic free / footpath type dog walk.
Nearest provisions about ¾ mile at Quy Post Office and General Stores.
To sum up: A well appointed CL which is ideally situated for visiting Cambridge and attached to a very comfortable modern pub.

Easter break at 'The missing sock' what a wonderful camp site, very friendly owner and staff.
Hard standing (near the road) or grass pitches (round the back) available. Only one toilet / shower could be a long wait if busy.
Very nice, mixed menue in the pub liked the look of the cook your own platters, lots of outside space as well as a play area for children.
5 mins from the park & ride, 15 mins from Newmarket.
Will use again.

Very interesting site. Very nice people. Very handy for A14 and Cambridge. Facilities are good and recent. Definitely will use again.
The Restaurant / Bar is also titled 'A Second Home'. The interesting and unique layout and themes certainly live up to this claim. Outside there are play zones and seats for al fresco eating and drinking. The CL is located to the rear on grass. We elected to use the gravel plots on the car park all with EHU.
