Large site split by the busy coast road. We were on the inland side but easy to walk to beach through an underpass.
Loved being able to walk down onto an empty beach in the morning for a swim.
There were pitches all alongside the beach with great views but not much privacy. Our pitch was fine and site amenities were good.
Great little gym with good equipment provided with free access. Didn’t use the site bar and restaurant but it was busy most nights.
Cycled to St Tropex via the off road cycle way which was good. St Tropez amazing for people watching and picking our next yacht!
No pool but with the sea on your doorstep not really needed.

This is a lovely campsite. Everything is clean and well maintained - the staff are all friendly. We had a pitch very close to the sea and it was beautiful. They accepted our ACSI card. The beach is clean and there is a cycle path from the campsite to St Tropez in one direction and Grimaud in the other. The shop had a great selection of food and local wines. Would love to stay here again. The tunnel to cross the road from one side of the campsite to the other was a bit awful but they had had a lot of rain one day.

We stayed at this site for 9 nights. We booked months in advance. We had a pitch on the beach just to the left of the entrance near the beach bar. We had a caravan directly in front of us so the sea view was limited. It wasn't the best of pitches but we were told when booking that we couldn't have a front row due to our outfit being a tent and vulnerable to the weather ie winds. The pitch wasn't great in size, anything bigger than us could have struggled. I think we were invisible to others that were there, as they used to walk across our pitch even while we were eating! So no pitch etiquette. A lot of the pitches including the one in front of us were booked out regular every year for weeks at a time.
The pitches weren't clean and neither was the beach. A tractor came every morning to run over the sand but all it did was move it from one place to another. The beach was used by lots and lots of locals and other campers from other sites in the area. We were told to put our towels out at 8am and go back when we wanted to as we would not get a space later due to the amount people that use the site.
The shower block that was on the beach that we used was constantly dirty. The toilets and the showers are very small and only one very tiny shelf to put stuff on and one hook.
The roads around are very busy.
Good supermarkets in the area.
The weather was very hot and lovely.
We fell in love with Port Grimaud which is within walking distance from the site.
We took a water taxi from Port Grimaud to St. Tropez and it was stunning.
It was nice to have experienced staying on the beach but it cost us two around 450.00 euros for the 9 nights that we were there. While we were there we noticed that we didn't have needed to pay that much. Others campers and locals turned up in their droves and parked up outside along the roads for free and just walked on to the beach and stayed there as long as they liked for free, even though there was a guy at the front gate he never stopped anyone.
The site was never quiet day or night. The road outside the site was used as a race track by locals. People were on the beach till all hours. I never felt safe on this site at all. I'm glad we didn't have kids with us.
We would not return to this site as we now know that there are nicer ones around the area and lots of parking places where you can access the beaches.

We stayed at this site for 9 days. The site is split into two parts with the busy main road between the inland site and the beach side site. There is a zebra crossing so no problem getting to and from the beach if you stay on the inland side. Lovely, busy site, reception staff are very helpful and welcoming. Shower and toilet facilities are good, very clean. Plenty of washing up sinks, although we don't use these. Pitches are on different levels, some being more spacious than others. We found a pitch big enough for our 8 metre caravan and Landcruiser with no problem. We parked the car in the car park at the bottom of the site every day and carried our loungers etc across the road to the beach. A beautiful beach, reserved for the campsite so never overcrowded. Beach bar was open from 1. 00pm each day with food and drinks, although no lager! The Rose wine was good though. The pitches on the beach were lovely, although I would think were fully booked every year! We used ACSI card so the site was really good value at 16 euros a night.
The site is perfectly situated for cycling into Port Grimaud, St Tropez and St Maxime. All very easily accessed on a level road. Forget travelling by car, the traffic is a nightmare, a constant jam right the way from St Tropez to St Maxime. There is a bus stop outside the site, but we didn't use it - we spoke to some disgruntled Motorhome owners who said they all waited on the bus stop to go to St Maxime, but the buses just sailed past them all full.
We ate in the campsite restaurant on the last night - we had a pizza and more Rose - all very good and reasonably priced.
If we headed down that way again we would definitely stay at Les Mures again, maybe on the beach next time!
