 Excellent Municipial Site 70` east of Paris on N4 good overnight stop (or longer) en route to Vosges area etc. 11. 30 euro`s in June! Call at Bungalow at entrance after 3pm unless swimming pool open when the pool office will open barrier. Pitches are grass, a good size, some terraced and flat, others sloping and will require levelling blocks. Facilities are not ultra modern but clean and decent, plenty of hot water maybe stretched in high season site was quiet at end of June. Sezanne is a 20min walk a selection of small shops and small supermarket. Avoid town centre if approaching from east or heading east by following signs for lorries and campsite signs. Note when travelling N4 there are only a very limited number of fuel stops directly on the N4 Paris to Nancy.

What a find!
We found this municipal campsite by luck. Our plan was to stay in Epernay Municipal but there was some event going on, so we looked out for something else on our way south. So glad that we did.
The whole site was well looked after, with grass well manicured. Pitches were terraced and spacious, with pleasant views. Spotlessly clean sanitaires. The bread van arrived at 08:30.
For 4 adults in trailer tent, we only paid 13. 60 euros - what a bargain.
We only stayed one night on our way down to Annecy, so we didn't see much of the area.
Municipal swimming pool adjoining looked very popular with locals.

This is a gem in a region where campsites are few and of poor quality.
The camping area is part of the municipal 'loisirs' area, containing heated swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness trails etc.
The on site warden regards the site as his baby, so it is mown, cleaned and cossetted within an inch of its life. The sanitaires are large, warm and have copious supplies of hot water.
There is a slope on the site, but it is terraced to minimise the effect. There is ehu at 10 amp and water points dotted around the site. The downside is that there are no hard standings and doubled axled units are banned.
The washing machine is only €2. 2, (including powder)and you have free entry to the swimming pool.
Sezanne, itself is not terribly exciting, but is beautifully poised for Epernay, Challons, Provins and the whole 'Champagne experience'
The rate(2012) for 2 people+unit+ehu was €10. 70.
This is a wonderful stopover for those charging along the A26
