 A beautiful site by the confluence of the Truyère and the Lot rivers. Coming from the east, at the entrance of the village turn left, cross a narrow bridge, then fork right just past the motorhome aire. The setting is really lovely, with only the sound of the river and the chaffinches in the branches.
The office is not manned during the day till 5pm, but a notice on the door welcomes you to select a pitch between certain numbers. These turn out to be further down in the wooded valley section, rather than the riverside pitches by the sports field mentioned by Kelper. Booking is was easy, receptionist was friendly, and cheap at €13pn ACSI price.
There are two sanitaires, the first by the main building and another smaller one at the far end. Separate M/F, these were high quality and kept clean. The management are keen on recycling, even down to the stale bread; and strongly advise green toilet fluid (or copper sulphate).
The village is quaint, and worth a wander around, with a range of small shops and cafés. There is a Super you Express near the campsite, which we didn't try. There's one small filling station, open 24h, on the road out towards Aurillac.

Warm welcome. Not much English spoken but enough to get by. We chose a pitch by the river Lot. The site is an ex municipal site with a football pitch on part of site but not a problem. Sanitary block clean and showers hot. There's a footbridge from the site into the village which is a beautiful place to wander round, a lovely Salon du The by the square. Little shops but everything you need. Only downside is that in term time the swimming pool on the edge of the site is only open Wednesday afternoons and Saturdays as local schools use it other times. Once french schools break up pool is open. We would return

A really excellent site. The section along the river side/football pitch is especially good.
Two services blocks. The furthest away is very modern and less used. Well worth the extra walk or bike it!
A walk across the bridge to the very pleasant town with access to all the shops you need, plus a great ice cream parlour in the town square, and lots of boules to watch or take part in.
Really good villages and towns to visit in the area. Even a days visit o the Tarn/Millau bridge is easily doable.
Conques is a must see village.
Canoe hire is available nearby or launch your own from the site.
We had a wonderful time here, and will return!
