I stayed here for one night with my friend, on our way from Leeds to Sevenoaks to go to a festival. We needed the overnight stay so that we’d have enough energy for the festival. We’re both sprightly 60 year olds!
The site is lovely. Peaceful, clean and very well priced.
£20 per night for my small caravan, £1 for 5 mins shower and pay what you use in electricity, calculated by logging onto their website. This was a bit of a faff, but worked out very economical, coming in at £1. 50 for the electricity!
The only noise was from the farm vehicles, which wasn’t a problem, as it is a farm, after all, and a bit of aeroplane noise as it’s near Stansted airport.
If you’re staying longer, there’s a pub in walking distance, but we didn’t bother.
The weather was lovely so we cooked a steak and chilled in the sun with some cold beers!
I’ll definitely be back.
Thank you x

Great little campsite.
The plots were nice and flat.
Option for electric hook-up if needed.
Nice little shower, toilet and washing-up block.
Will definitely book again next year!

Small CL site with two toilets, two showers (coin operated) and two sinks for washing up. We stayed here as we wanted to visit RHS Hyde Hall which was about 25 minutes away by car.
Good sized pitch, we had one without electrical hookup, on grass.
We liked the site as it was a small one but you would need to drive if you wanted to go out for a meal.
We did walk to nearby Hylands Park along the road and then up an unmarked footpath but the road is a country one with no pavements so I wouldn't have wanted to do this with walk with children or dogs.

Lovely quiet little campsite a short distance from Chelmsford (3-4 miles) and close to a village with a pub or two.
Cycling around there is great too. Enjoyed my stay

The site was small and quiet. The facilities were clean and tidy.
It was very convenient for the course I was attending at Writtle College.
I was hoping to walk but didn’t feel safe walking along the main road to the nearest footpath.

It's a small site was very quiet and peaceful. There were sheep in the next field and I have never been near such quiet sheep ever. Area was really nice good space between tents and caravans. Was mostly caravans when we arrived but tents appeared on second day.
2 clean toilets 1 had toilet paper 1 not. 2 clean showers with quite a few hooks for hanging your stuff £1 for 5 mins not a strong shower but nice and warm water.
2 sinks with hot and cold water outside for dishwashing with drying rack.
Water taps around the field. Lots of ehu spaces and a few without. WiFi available in most of field.
Lots to do in the area. Maize maze just round the corner dinosaur park and large park also not far. Lots of walks.
All in all an awesome quiet site. Site owners very helpful and accommodating.

Fantastic little site. Stayed for two nights as visiting family nearby.
Very quiet and near to the town.
All level pitches.
Clean toilet and showers.
The entrance is right on a bend so be careful not to go in the farm opposite!
Could do with a bigger sign to pinpoint the campsite.
We will be returning to visit family more often. A great little find.
Thankyou
