We were greeted by Shelley and Brian, the site owners, with the warmest of welcomes.
This small site is utter perfection. Neatly mown grass, immaculate information room with WC, excellent WiFi and the most superb views.
Brian and Shelley are truly adorable people. We felt like we’d known them for years.
We can’t wait to return to hear some more of Brian’s fascinating stories.
This part of Somerset is spectacular.

Lovely scenic views. 5 vans site well-kept. Quiet and peaceful.
No annoying kids and there is one loo, a tap and an Elsan point which is all we require and like.
Owned by Shelley and Brian who were brilliant and helpful.
A 20-minute drive into Glastonbury.
Fish and chip shop in Langport 15 minutes away.
We have been twice now and will go again after lockdown for another peaceful week.

We stayed for three nights on the Hilltops certified site which is an immaculately mowed field with at least a 20 feet separation between caravans, and all for £14 per night. No nearby road noise. Quiet. Pets are welcome. Very nice views for miles. Brian and Shelley are friendly and helpful. Brian is renovating a traction engine and he has a small museum which he was pleased to show me, mostly engineering and guns, so herself read a book while I disappeared for an hour - or two.
Glastonbury is twenty minutes away and Wells is not much further on, whose cathedral is well worth a visit together with the oldest street in Europe.
Dorchester is worth visiting as well. Plenty of 'stuff' going on so look on the web for events in the area.
All in all, recommended, and we will return.

Visit this site yearly so must be good. Always clean and well presented. Toilet block. A site with stunning views looking over the valley to the hills beyond. Wonderful owners that make you feel part of the family. Brian has a collection of vintage machinery which he is more than happy to show you around, and is presently restoring a steam traction engine. When you are here you are out in nature, just 7 miles from Glastonbury and Street. A little paradise in Somerset

Visited in November 2014 and returned Easter 2015 so must be good. Beautifully clean and well presented site with stunning views looking over the valley to the hills beyond. Delightful and interesting owners with a collection of vintage machinery which he is more than happy to show you around. Toilet block but no showers but very clean nevertheless. When you are here you are out in nature but still not far from Glastonbury and street. Certainly worth a visit.
