 This is a great site for touring the area. The site itself is very clean and also quiet, which suits me perfectly. Plenty of hot water. Wifi is available free at reception. There is a lake opposite which is approximately 3 miles round that my Spaniel loved. There is also a nice wee beach area on the lake for children and adults to enjoy safe swimming. Very well priced at 65€ for 5 days, including electricity.

Stayed for two nights at the beginning of our holiday. Nice campsite, very quiet. Toilet/shower block was lovely, clean, warm and spacious. Couple running the camp were friendly and did their best in English to explain things. We pretty much catered for ourselves so was in no need of shops or bars. It was a good stop over site.

We stumbled upon this campsite on our way to Blois. It's pretty basic but it's big, you can camp where you like with space, it wasn't busy, it has a great location and it's cheap. There's a large toilet and shower block which could be modernised. There's a thick dusting of cobwebs and small spiders on the entrance to the shower blocks, but it didn't bother me so much and I'm petrified of spiders.
The site had a child's play area and across the road, there's a lake with a man made beach which is lovely! The town is a short walk away with cafes etc and the locals are friendly.
The site was friendly, felt safe and was quiet. The toilets are a bit of a let down but we had a great time staying on this site and the price was brilliant! I would definitely recommend this site as a stop off enroute!
