Superb place to stay, beautiful town, lovely setting along the river.
Helpful staff, clean, well maintained site.

This is a lovely, busy campsite on the shores of Lake Annecy in Sevrier. We were travelling as two couples in a caravan and a motorhome, and hoping to get two adjacent pitches as we had done on previous sites travelling down through France. I phoned the site the day before we arrived and although they were very busy, said they could take us but not on adjacent pitches. On arrival they had gone to a lot of trouble to accommodate our request, and offered us separate pitches for one night and on the second day we would both move to different, but adjacent pitches. This was more than we could have hoped for on such a busy site, and was very happily accepted. The two ladies in reception were always very friendly and helpful, and both spoke excellent English.
The site has a small wooden pier for mooring boats, and it was very easy to enter the water from the end of the pier to swim in the lake. There is a small sand beach for children and a grassed area to relax and enjoy looking out over the lake and mountains opposite. The toilet block was very modern and kept very clean, as were all the facilities on the site. Free Wi-fi was availble all over the site.
There is a boulangerie which opened from 7. 30 until 10. 00 every morning, and also a games / TV room.
The cycle track which runs the length of the lake is right outside the entrance to the campsite. It was a 10 minute walk to the bus-stop to go into Annecy.
This must be one of the best sites in ther Annecy lake area, and even in June was very busy. If you would like to stay here it would be wise to ring ahead and reserve a place on-line because every day people were turned away because the site was full.
I can recommend this site without any hesitation and hope to return again in the not too distant future.

The site is a bit unprepossessing at first glance, but grows on you.
The pitches vary in size from quite small to very large. The reception always ask the size of the unit before allocating the pitch. There are very few that have “ privacy” and these tend to be away from the beach area.
The grass beach, jetty, swimming area and launching ramp make this site extremely popular
As said in other reviews, the sanitaires blocks are very good and even the old block is immaculately clean and has scalding hot water.
There is free wifi. From our pitch (no 86) there was a strong, continuous signal
Annecy is about 20 mins by bike along a marvellous cycle only path. The surrounding area and up the road to Geneva are all well worth visiting.
I should imagine the area, which is unashamedly geared to watersports and cycling could be a bit frenetic in July/August time.
We will probably return in off peak time.

Stayed at this site this June. Site was very busy and almost full. Very helpful staff and probably the best sanitary block you will ever find. Pitches very small and stony. Adjacent to lake and good swimming in warm water. Weekends are very busy with locals passing through the site to launch boats. Annecy is a beautiful town and lots to do in the area

This was a nice site ideally located for enjoying Annecy and the lake. It was a smallish site but did have organised evening events. This not our sort of thing so we did not go along but it did not disturb us either. The main toilets were modern and very clean whilst the ones nearer our pitch were much more basic. A baker came onto site each morning selling delicious bread and pastries and one evening a rotisserie van came selling roast meets and fries which we enjoyed.
The beach on the site is very small so we preferred to cycle five minutes along the path towards Annecy to use the access to the lake there. It was a lovely lake to swim and play in. GE cycle ride to Annecy took half an hour along a dedicated cycle 'highway'.
We also had fun afternoon horse riding on lovely gentle horses which were perfect for my husband and boys (9 and 7) who have not been on horses before.
We would definitely use the site again.

Stopped at this site in July 2013 for 7 nights. Had booked in advance as went at a very busy time of year.
Can't fault this site. Location was perfect. 8km from Annecy and right on the cycle path which took about 20 minutes on a bike. Very easy ride as flat all the way. Site has it's own beach, bakery, children's playroom.
Reception staff were very friendly and were prepared to help in any way they could.
Facilities were immaculate. The site was very busy when we went but didn't have to wait for a toilet or shower once.
The only thing I could possibly criticise was the fact that the pitches were a bit small and afforded you no privacy but then we went at the busiest time of year so can't really complain! However, everyone was very friendly and the no noise after 10pm rule meant that we never felt it was a major problem.
Geneva was approx 60km away and Chamonix 100km so in a great position for exploring the Alps region.
Would highly recommend this site and would go back if ever in the area again.

This small site is on the banks of Lake Annecy, reasonable sized pitches arranged at right angles to the lake so only 4 have a direct lake view (these must be pre booked) the lake can be seen from most places on the site. The site has a small beach and landing stages but dogs are not allowed on the beach or pontoons and must be walked off site. The facilities are basic and stretched but are due to be replaced in winter 2012. Free wifi is available throughout the site, electricity is 10amp. The site is very popular and has access directly onto the very well used cycle path to Annecy. There is a supermarket within 5 minutes walk or more shopping and frequent bus to annecy (3 euros) 10 minutes. A small dog friendly access point to the lake is a 10 minute walk. During the summer a water taxi to Annecy operates from the site but must be pre booked. Annecy (7 KM) is a popular and very beautiful town with markets on most days and many restaurants. The cycle path is 30 miles long and follows the lake it can get very busy both with cyclists and roller bladers. Cycle or bus travel to Annecy is preferable to avoid horrific traffic and parking. There is a motorhome aire outside the gate of this site and the motorhome service point also outside the gate can be obstructed at times. Reception staff speak good english and are very helpful. Reception closed 12-3pm (2pm July and August)
