We have just returned home from 8 wonderful nights on this CL.
A wonderfully secluded location with the tantalising noise of fast jets from RAF Lakenheath, these however don’t disturb the tranquility for long.
Our 13 year old daughter and ourselves have really enjoyed our stay,
We will be back,
It is excellent value for money and the site owner makes an appearance to ensure all is well every day.

What a great CL site one of the best we have been to. Great place, the planes from the local air field are great.
The owner Dave is a super chap and very helpful.
The local shops are great, also the pub bird in hand lovely meals.

We used this site as a stopover to and from North Norfolk, and it was fine for this purpose, it would also be good for short stays and there is plenty to see in the area. We couln't get Sky tv though, much to OH's dismay, and internet was intermittent so Sky Go was too (the Open Golf was on).
It's easy to find using the CAMC directions and there is a sign at the junction of the road and the track to the site.
£12 per night is fine, the owner will arrive at some stage for his money.
Back down the road towards the town there is a handy Esso garage/shop; there are footpaths directly from the site for dog walking.
We would use it again but just for a stopover, there is no recycling though. Lots of wildlife, various birds and deer in the woods.

What a gem of a site, lovely wide gate leading onto a super level grass area, water and grey drainage on each pitch, nice views, neighbours and very kind and welcoming owners and helpers.
Ideal for plane spotting with mildenhall and lakenheath near by. Easy to use cwp. Bus stop well within easy walk distance.
Will certainly will be going back. Many thanks Barbara and Cheryl
