Wonderful site, we stayed at the Farm not on the Beach site, for one week August 2013. Lovely and quite 3/4 minutes walk to the beach. Facilities were brilliant, clean and very up to date.
Access to site was via usual Devonshire single lanes but it was my first time towing and I managed it no problem but did follow sites advisory to avoid arriving during busy beach times which is a must!
The best way to advise about our liking for this site is to inform that we have already booked for two weeks in 2014 and we are very much looking forward to it!

Everything the previous reviewer said is true and worth noting, but in spite of the steep price and access restrictions, this is a fabulous site - you won't get closer to the beach, particularly if you are on the front row.
We found the cafe on the beach very good and the owner very friendly and helpful - one of our party is veggie and he happily accommodated the menu and made suggestions for future visits.
The beach is the draw, of course, and is fantastic. Although there is only the beach cafe nearby, an easy walk along the beach takes you into Woolacombe with all the facilities there.
We spent a week here this year and we've booked for 2 next year!

Great views from Beach site. Toilets, water and bins on site but shower block (very nice but unisex) and laundry facilities (including washer, dryer and iron/ironing board) are on another site about half a mile inland - not really a walk away.
No pot washing facilities. Can only book in week blocks I think.
Very expensive as camping goes but you pay for location and views I suppose. Be aware - VAT is added on top of price listed on the website.
Awnings are charged extra. Roads to site very narrow and winding so arrival/departure at odd hours is essential to avoid beach traffic. Dogs allowed on both site and beach.
Access to beach straight from site. Wifi is chargeable. Cafe nearby but no pubs within walking distance.
No tents or campervans allowed on the beach site.
