This is a centrally located site for many of the sites in the Alsace. On the advice from previous reviews, we prebooked our stay and were glad we did for the site was full on all nights and queues to get in from 2pm.
Many of the pitches are flat and enclosed with hedges, having their own water connection too. There are two sanitary buildings which are modern, loo paper is provided but the loos are seatless.
The showers nearer to the Reception are slightly nicer, in that they each have a shower, basin and dressing area. Wifi very good. There is some road noise, especially with the pitches closer to reception. Laundry and washing up areas kept spotless.
Most nights they have visiting food trucks, ranging from roast chicken, burgers and chips, to crepes and pizzas. Wine tasting was also available. Bread is available to order from Reception. There is a large supermarket LeClerc in Reaubeaville, about 4 miles away, although it closes slightly earlier on Sundays.
There is a playpark and gym on site, as well as a campers cabin. A lot of visitors are motorhomers staying just a few nights, but a few also come in on just a bike, using it as a base for the wine route. No swimming pool on site, but we went to a fantastic open air pool- Carola in Ribeauville for 3E/person, available June, July and August, and there is a slightly more expensive inside pool with a waterslide and lazy river in the same town too.
We were able to use the site as a base to visit Colmar, Riquewihr, the Trois balloons, Chateau Haut- Koenigsbourg, amongst other places. There is quite a lot in the area on the WW1 French/German front which we hadn't realised before. Riquewihr is walkable and cyclable from the site via some back roads.

This was our 5th visit to this site. We don't usually book, but we know that just turning up during harvest season can be a bit risky because they're often full so we usually aim to arrive before midday (before the office closes for lunch) or around 2pm to be at the front of the queue when they re-open.
This year we didn't arrive until 6pm so we were a little nervous they might be full but due to Covid the place was only about 2/3 full.
Only one sanitary block was open and it was cleaned very regularly. Almost all pitches have a water & EHU bollard right next to them. Laundry tokens can be bought from reception and you can also order bread, croissants, bretzels for the next day.
Takeaway food vans visit most evenings and on-site wine tastings were still going ahead (though fewer than in previous years).
The site is ideally located for walking up into beautiful Riquewihr, or cycling to the other nearby villages.

This is a large popular site in a very beautiful area and I would recommend arriving early or booking in advance. We were greeted by a lady in reception who was very pleasant and helpful. Although the site is well kept a very large proportion of the pitches are not very level and some areas of the site are quite sloping.
The main sanitary block is modern with good facilities and kept very clean. You can order bread daily and wifi is free.
There are several villages all within walking distance, but Riquewihr is the prettiest – and consequently very busy and full of tourists. Further afield are many more beautiful villages that you can drive to.
For a large supermarket with fuel – visit LeClerc at Ribeauville.
Would happily visit again.

A lovely site. Have spent 7nights here. Lovely area, 1km into Riquewihr.
New toilet/shower facilities. Clean, spacious and heated. Each shower cubicle has a wash basin and seating area. Some also have hairdryers.
The site is well kept, there is even a shower area for dogs. Staff are friendly and speak very good English. Bread can be ordered for the morning. Play area for children. Pitches are well set out.
There are a lot of trees to provide shade in the warmer months.
ACSI card accepted. Very good value at 17 euros

The pitches here are quite compact, but well maintained and some are sloping. Also I noticed that some campers had to trail their cable across the road surface to access the EHU. The shower and toilet facilities were clean and modern and unusually for France, each one had toilet paper and seats. The location is excellent with the villages of Riquewihr and Minnewhir within easy walking distance. The former is a really beautiful village with some excellent cafe/bars and restaurants. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and arranged for a Doctor's appointment for me at short notice. This is a beautiful part of the world and this site makes an excellent base for touring. The nearest supermarket is in Ribeauville a few miles away, but well worth the visit as it is a really attractive, lively town, again blessed with some lovely restaurants and pubs. I would definitely return to this site, which was quiet, friendly, well maintained and reasonable - what more could you ask for.

Site was very full for this time of year probably due to the proximity of the very interesting local towns all of which are worth a visit.
Some pitches are quite small and 90% are sloping. Helpful office staff. English spoken.
Reverse polarity electricity. Some road noise especially at top end of site.
Three clean sanitation blocks (one fairly new). Childrens' play area and boules piste.
Arrive early as there could be a queue each day from early afternoon to get on.
Bread/pastries ordered at office by 7. 00pm the night before. No shop on site but local garage (500 metres) has a small bakery and mini market attached.
Recommended.
