The area for camping was quite over grown but they did explain it had been to wet to mow, but we pitched tent any way only to discover we had done so over a big hole the long grass had covered it up even though we had gone over it and did not find it until we had put up our tent a 10 man Kalahari. There were quite a few holes around so missing one would have been difficult and would have meant moving to another pitch and we needed the electric so there was not much choice. The shower and toilet are in the same room with just one of each so if either is in use you have to wait until its free. They have said a new block is arriving soon, I just hope they sort the hot water out as when my daughter went to use the shower there was no hot water left. The campsite was clean and drinking water tap, electric and chemical waste were all near by as we had a pitch right next door to it there was a fence around it all. The gentleman who owned the glamping pods was very nice and mowed a strip of grass around each end of our tent and up to our car, which made it easier to walk to the car. People have complained about the noise from the donkey but that did not bother us it was the noise from the people leaving the pub at night that did, there seemed to be no notices around to say please keep noise to a minimum as campers may be sleeping! People even sounded theirs car horns I know people need to say goodnight but you know what its like in a tent you hear every thing.
The site was very close to a lovely beach only 10 or so minutes away but due to the noise of the pub I don't think we will go there again there were even children playing football in the car park quite late one night there is a play area for them to play in at the front of the pub so there was no need to play by the camping field. The field it self needs a lot of work to get it suitable for tents getting rid of the holes but if that is done I am sure it will make a nice site, as long as you don't mind the noise from the pub. The lady was very welcoming but the other guy who worked behind the bar needs to build up his customer relation skills a bit. I would recommend this site for caravans and campers only as the noise would not bother them as much

This was my favourite site during my week touring Wales and SW England, and the cheapest. One night's stay just didn't seem enough.
The fact the pitches were nice and level and the site was part of and located adjacent to a pub which served good food and provided good company helped it stand out against any other site I visited.
The site is fairly new so there's a few minor wrinkles to be ironed out, such as the limited toilet/shower facility which can only be occupied by one individual or couple at a time.
The pitch, being quite open on all sides, warranted setting the guy lines, just in case.
My only annoyance was the mule in the adjacent farm. Don't they ever sleep? Oh, and of course if you retire early, the customers who depart at closing time.
Other than that, first rate site and well recommended.
Not sure how long the offer will last but while camping on site residents are entitled to 10% discount on meals.

Excellent quiet site, with superb pub serving excellent food. All staff and owner very friendly and nothing is too much for them. Do not let the fact it is on an a road put you off as it is a very rural area and the road is very quiet. Will definitely be back. Family unit is spacious and very clean good shower. A very quiet site perfect. This site is perfectly situated for towns, beaches, car boot and sunday market, although a car is highly recommended due to the rural area. Petrol station with post office and shop well stocked 300 yards away

Excellent site with a very warm welcome from the owner,
Just off the main cardigan road but no traffic noise. Great field for the dog to run around or kids to play, with a swing and slide etc in another part of the site.
The pub serves excellent food and has entertainment on the weekends and live sports games on in the afternoon football rugby etc.
Very near to some great beaches and cardigan town centre.
Overall a good site with hard standings, a clean shower and toilet cabin with lots of hot water. Every pitch has a tap and electric hook up. We will be going back soon as we had a great time. I would recommend this site to motorhomes and caravans and even tents. Excellent!
