 Excellent campsite, 30 minute walk in to Lucern.
Pitches are a very good size.
Toilet and shower blocks are immaculate and the washing up areas.
Dog meadow to the left of the campsite and a lovely sunset bar.
Would highly recommend.
It is expensive as is all of Switzerland l, it is still excellent value for where it is situated.

Great site in a super location very close to the lake.
Clean and tidy facilities across the site.
The staff are extremely helpful and cheerful providing a super welcome and with nothing too much for them.
Comfortable pitch sizes.

A fairly large site on the edge of the city. Free bus passes are provided and the bus stop is a 5 minute walk away on the main road outside the campsite.
Good sized pitches and decent sanitary blocks but pretty expensive at £41 per night (well, it is Switzerland!).

Great site, close to town, transport museum 5 mins walk, town 20 mins. We did boat trip and cog train which were both excellent but quite expensive but we felt were worth it.
Bar/cafe/shop on site, individual good size gravel pitches with grass to side.
Free showers/hairdryers, motor home facilities even have tyre inflation pump/gauge.

Visited this site 3 times, first time back in 2006. Really good location, easy to find about 20 mins walk along the lakeside from the town centre.
Prices are reasonable, especially for the area and pitches nice and big. Every time we've gone back more facilities have been added, now different types of unit to hire, wifi, tv etc.
Main draw, apart from the gorgeous town, is that it is right on the lake opposite the tennis centre and lido. The lido has lake side beaches, pools, slides, diving platforms, restaurants etc and is a great place to cool off in the summer.
Campsite itself has nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Facilities are good, pls note swiss plugs need a specific swiss adaptor, your bog standard European one will not work here. There is a small shop on site but we did our main shopping in the town centre, there is a supermarket near the main post office.
The walk into town along the lake is lovely, all flat and easily navigable through pretty parkland. Depending on tourist season, lots of little beer garden-type outdoor bars are dotted along the way. Highly recommend.
