Reviewers - mature couple with campervan and e-bikes.
We spotted this campsite in the ACSI book and decided to try it instead of our usual Cote d'Azur site as it would be a little cheaper.
The previous reviewer has given a good description, but I can add a few more useful pieces of info.
The site is in the hills above the seaside town of Cagnes Sur Mer, on a fairly quiet road, but is very peaceful away from the bustle of the seaside. We initially followed the satnav, but eventually had to resort to the directions in the ACSI book. When we arrived early afternoon the gate was locked, but the friendly warden came out immediately and let us in. She led us to a pitch then asked us to return to reception to check in once we were settled. We conversed in French, but her English was good too. She gave me a map of the area and explained how to find supermarkets, shops, bus stops, all sorts, very helpful. We were given a key to open the gate, 10 euro deposit, it is locked all the time.
At the rear of the office there is a cafe, small shop, children's club room/library. The cafe sells pre-ordered breakfasts, chips with 15 min notice for most of the day, plus other snacks and drinks. The lady seemed to be in charge of all these things, we saw no other staff apart from a gardener.
The sanitaires are mixed gender, but very clean and plentiful, if a little old fashioned. The pool is not on the site itself, but outside the gate, across the road, through a small gate and up a woodland path. It appears to belong to a villa, but is for campers use too. From the terrace you have a sea view, just, and it's a lovely place to relax.
The old town of Haut de Cagnes is not far, but a pull up to the top. There are restaurants there and the odd shop, and the views are spectacular.
We cycled down into the town, past Lidl, (not far but no bread there, maybe because there is an artisan boulangerie nearby. ) We picked up the cycle paths in town, which was very busy with traffic, but were soon on the sea front, which we visit every year and love the spacious promenade. A bit of a pull back up to the campsite, easier with the e-bikes.
I would describe this site as quirky, or maybe it is more typically French than we are used to. We would be happy to use it again with the ACSI discount.

A lovely characterful small quiet site well shaded by mature trees. Pitches reasonably level. Friendly owners. Small swimming pool across the road from the main site. We saw a red squirrel from our van one morning.
Unisex facilities with a mix of hole in floor and sit down loos. No toilet seats nor bog paper. Showers OK. Kept clean.
Free WIFI near to office.
The seaside town of Cagnes sur Mer is a short cycle ride away, with a supermarket ( Aldi/Lidl?) en route.
Fascinating old town of Cagnes a strenuous uphill walk, but worth it for the views of the surrounding countryside and for the old town itself.
Convenient for driving to local attractions, e. G. Grasse, St Paul de Vence.
Super safe cycle track along the prom from Cagnes to Nice (about 6 miles). Not so good towards Antibes.
Would definitely use again, but booking advisable, people turned away when we were there.
