After a period of closure, the pub is reopening in March 2020 with a new team, this includes reopening of the campsite.

We stayed here one night while touring on our bicycles. The site is very basic, with facilities in a portacabin.
For the modest cost it is reasonable, if you just want a basic place to say, with no particular views etc. The pub is another matter - it appeared to be undergoing some renovation.

Flat and level some hardstandings although accessed driving over grass first. Good pub run by Eric, friendly Landlord. Good food but limited menu. Very zealous guard dog.
Buses pass by pub to Leominister and Hereford. Both towns worth a visit.
Very quiet site. Water and electric for each pitch. Small portakabin with clean, warm and dry shower and toilet. Small mace shop about 300 yards away.

This site is attached to a village pub run by a very friendly man; you can enjoy a drink, meet & mix with some of the welcoming local residents. The pub opens every evening for drinks & on a Thursday night 'Curry' is served.
There is grass & hard standing pitches with electric hook ups. A portacabin houses one toilet & one shower both are exceptionally clean.
We have stayed here for 2 nights, on both occasions we were the sole unit.

Stayed for four nights at this site and is the sort that I love in a lovely country village with a shop and post office just a short walk away. The pub is great and full of proper friendly locals with great real ale has curry nights etc.
The landlord could not be more welcoming and nothing is too much trouble to make you feel welcome in the pub or the site. He has a large field next to the main campsite which he is happy to have meets and I would recommend this to any club to arrange.
The campsite itself is flat with some hardstanding and 6 hookups with water and toilets and a shower on site.
Hereford is 6 miles away with lots of interesting places to visit.
The site is still in the process of being finished but a lovely place to stay so please support this great pub and Eric as I`m sure you will have a very nice time
