This is a lovely peaceful site with grassed pitches and electric hook ups. A small town but with a famous Abbey which you can visit. Bread etc available within a short walk also restaurants.

The only thing that lets this site down, but we still like to stay here, is the rather dated facilities, though it is kept spotless it really could do with updating.

The site is well located and within 10 minutes walking distance of the town and its small shops and restaurants. The site is quite small, 50 emplacements of a generous size set out in a well shaded and a green oasis. The guardian was very welcoming and friendly but speaks little or no English.

Bread and Pastries are available to order. The sanitary block lets the site down badly. Hot water only available from one tap for washing up and laundry and no hot water to the wash basins. Taking a shower is a gamble of being almost scolded one second and very cold the next, when hot water is drawn from the one tap by another camper.

Vidoir point is shared with motor home waste point and very difficult to use as you have to pour it into a 100mm pipe set into the ground. Would not return.
