An ok site, once you are on it. The CAMC directions tell you to approach from the west, but you have to negotiate a narrow bridge, 8ft wide caravans or large motorhomes would have difficulty. Much better to approach from the east.
The entrance to the site is adequately signed, but then there is a long track to negotiate. OK with care. There were too many trees on the actual site for our liking, but it looks pretty.
There are supermarkets in Trowbridge, and go up the Hill at Westbury to see the White Horse, where there is also a good walk.
We were charged £13 per night which was fine.

We spent two weeks at this lovely site, it is peaceful with lovely views and a nice short walk to the mill pub. The owners have an aray of recycle bins for lots of different types of recyclable containers. Which was lovely to see. The grass was mowed regularly and there's a shed with tourist information including bus timetable to bath. We would definitely recommend this site. We took our 6yr old but spent most days out. It is limited on space as there's not really room for kids to play, but it didn't bother us as we we're hardly in during the day.

We were looking for a site deep in the country suitable for lots of walking as we own dogs. Unfortunately there is no walk straight off site other than a very narrow, very uneven track between fields where the grass was very thick and taller than me. No place for off lead runs. This site is ideal for people wanting to visit local attractions but not really for open country lovers; there is farmland around but we were advised by local people it was not allowed for us to be on it. Facilities are as described. I only briefly met one of the owners as we arrived. Nice enough site but not for us.
