This site is beautifully set in a very rural location in the Maure Mountains. Nearest village, 2 miles, nearest town 20 miles. The site has a mix of chalet accomodation plus plenty of pitches spaciously set around the grounds. Most are accessible to electric points. The site is half way up on the side of a valley with terraces. All pitches seemed to be level. If you really wanted to get away from everybody else there were some pitches set apart among the woodland. There is plenty of tree cover for when it is very hot and shade is needed. We were made very welcome by Muriel who is Dutch and enjoys speaking English. Most visitors when we were there were Dutch, with some German and French thrown in. We were not there in high season so it was not very busy. The shop was open for 1 hour in the morning and bread has to be pre-ordered. The small restaurant is open every evening with a set meal menu(and take away) but orders must be placed that morning. It would probably be very different in high season. Facilities are 1st class, the outdoor pool is big and very clean(but not heated). WiFi is provided by Trustive, which means you have to buy a package, see their website for info. There is NO mobile reception, the local mast is the other side of Brianconnet village. There are lots of walking opportunities the GR4 runs not far away and there are others, but not the sort of footpaths that we have in the UK. The entire site is Naturist and you can access the river at the bottom of the valley, but need to cross a road and walk along 100 metres so need to take shorts for this part. The entire region is highly recommended if you want to get away into the French countryside and sample the localities and their delicacies. There were no children staying when we were there so although there is a playground I don't know about Child Friendliness.
Would I go there again, without a doubt.
