 Stayed here for 2 nights to attend the races. Lovely, quiet site with electric and waste/water/toilet disposal facilities. Own sanitation essential. The owner John is lovely and very chatty.
Great walks directly from the site into Fountains Abbey. And about a mile from the town centre for bars and restaurants.
Perfect site if you require piece and quiet.
We will be returning

Just returned from a weekend visit. Easy walking distance to the centre of Ripon well worth a visit also for the more energetic Fountains Abbey is within a mile or so. We biked it and yes it is well worth a visit. The site is within easy driving distance to Brimham Rocks which is yes you have guessed it well worth a visit. The site is minimal all pitches are hard standing with ehu (didn't trip at all) water and waste disposal but little else. Was very quiet even with a rally in adjoining field. Booking on phone was easy and each pitch has your name on when you arrive. All in all a great little site for visiting Ripon and the area.

Ideally placed for both Ripon and Studley Royal, both within walking distance, this is a nice, well maintained and peaceful site adjacent to a caravan park and rally field. (No access to the caravan park facilities. ) The owner is friendly and welcoming, and will have put up a sign reserving your pitch before you arrive. Apart from EHU and waste disposal, facilities are minimal, but this is what you would expect for the price. One word of warning. If arriving from the Ripon direction, you want the entrance just BEFORE the signposted caravan park. Ignore the 'private no access' signs, and after a while you will see the CS sign on a gate to the right.
