 It's 11 years since this site was reviewed, so this is mainly to say it is still all true!
The atmosphere is very friendly, both the management and the other campers (mostly French, some Dutch).
Organised events don't start properly until July, but food and drinks are being served (though bread is not available).
The pool is superb.
Most of the site is a wooded plateau but the pool area, lawn and restaurant are at the end of the promentary, looking out over a fabulous view.

My daughter and I found this site, mostly by accident (and a lot of internet searching) and we were very glad that we did. We planned to stay only a few days, but stayed a whole week. We arrived in time for the weekly meal, taken communally for approx 14e for a four course meal with wine. Food was excellent. The campsite has relatively few pitches, but is on a largish area.
Each pitch is level and with plenty of trees. The toilet blocks were small but clean and always well maintained. There was a lovely pool located near the terrace (free WiFi), with fabulous views over the countryside. While sitting on the terrace you can enjoy a few glasses of wine and a meal.
There is also a boules area, with regular games every night, an indoor area with books to borrow, TV etc, but we didn't use that much. BBQ areas dotted around the site and a big communal campfire/BBQ once a week
The most outstanding aspect of this place was the friendliness of everyone. Not just the staff, but all of the other guests of the site were friendly and very very welcoming.
I recommend this campsite without hesitation. We spent most of our time hanging out at the site, swimming, lazing in hammocks and didn't travel too far afield, there is a shopping centre about 15 minutes drive away and a little further afield the caves with prehistoric cave art etc.
Go! And tell them the two Irish women sent you. I am struggling to think of any negative points, it is possibly not the best site for teenagers, there is a small play area and the pool is relatively shallow (no lifeguard) so it is probably best for adults and smaller kids.
