Superb small field amongst farmland. Owner very accommodating and friendly, as were all other site users.
The site is well situated to explore on foot or by bike, with many routes to discover. Nearby pub, farm shop and Maltings all worth visits. We loved it.
Facilities as expected for a certified site.

Wow! One of the best weeks we've spent in our motorhome so far. First of all, we must say, after looking at some of the previous reviews where the roads & entrance were mentioned negatively, we were a little apprehensive. But we had no problems at all with either.
Eddie the owner emailed the best approach from the A12, yes, the road is narrow with passing places, but as you would expect it is a quiet country lane to reach the beautiful sheltered field.
No problems with our 7M van, as long as you drive considerately, listen & think about what might be ahead in a arable farming area. The entrance was easily negotiable, yes, you have to wait in the road whist you unlock the gate, but never presented a problem when used with care.
We booked electric hook up, which we chose from what was available & met the most fantasic owners Eddie & his wife Julie (not forgetting Josie the cocker spaniel). These two people are the most friendly & helpful owners of any site we've visited & can not praise them enough for their friendliness & kindness, without being intrusive of your time whilst on holiday.
The field is level grass, adults only, hook up for 4 units, cute toilet and wash basin shed, lined with trees/hedging, & sun all day on 3/4 of the site. Lots of space allocated to each pitch, great to be able to take your dog too. Ours chilled out on her tether line & watched the butterflies dance around.
Great village hall playground opposite for a quick walk, plenty of safe footpaths across fields & glorious forest walks. The village pub no more than a 5 minute stroll, 2 others about a 2 mile walk in two different directions (Little Glenham and Snape Maltings).
Stock up on essentials if you don't intend to use your van, but the owners will point you in a direction for a shop, but they are a few miles away (ok if you have bikes).
All that's left to say is WE'LL BE BACK

Spent two nights at this very quiet, small site. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit if you like out of the way, unspoilt places.
Facilities are limited but, to us, part of the beauty of the place. Pub only a few minutes walk where food is available. Snape Maltings approximately 40 minutes walk away.
Will definitely visit the site again.

Stayed for four nights at this quiet campsite. The Camp Commandant (his description not mine) is a really friendly and informative guy.
Facilities are limited and would benefit from a shower but at the price (£12) we weren't complaining. The sat nav directed us past the entrance and surrounding roads are quite narrow which could be a problem if you have a long unit.
Nearby Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings and castles at Orford and Framlingham are worth a visit.
Would definitely recommend.

What a pleasant little site. Very basic but I like that. Its proper camping. The Couple were very helpful and friendly. They helped me pack my van as I was on my own and the site is dog friendly.
Plenty of walks and lovely countryside.
The pub is a 5 mins walk and does great food and the landlord and lady are friendly too. In close reach of Orford, Woodbridge and Framlingham so
Plenty to do. Really enjoyed my stay. Will definitely be going back.
