 This site is in a wonderful location - a short walk over a large sand dune brings you to the beach which stretches for miles either way. It's also a short walk/bike ride into Katwijk Aan Zee, so perfect if you're in a campervan & not wanting to drive anywhere. A Lidl is a 7 min bike ride away. There are numerous cycle paths & walking routes. There's a shop where they bake their own bread & has a good selection of rolls etc. There's also a restaurant, which we didn't use. Toilet & showers were plentiful & clean.
The downside is the size of the pitches. We were advised to park with our 'backs' to the sea as that's where the prevailing wind is from. Everyone did this, so there are lines of campers & caravans all very close together. Our unit is 6. 2mtrs long which left us with about a foot either end of our pitch. We could just get our back doors open to get our bikes out. This resulted in not having any privacy at all. Breakfast means sitting outside our van about 2mtrs away from our neighbours. We have got used to the camping life where much of your coming & goings are seen by others, but this was just too much. We were away for 8 days & fortunately had only booked the first 4 nights here - we were pleased to get away. There are slightly bigger pitches at more cost - which brings me onto the next issue. Our 4 nights cost 122 Euros, inclusive of EHU & tax, which we thought was pretty steep.
So, a tricky one to rate - 10/10 for location but 5/10 for pitch size/privacy.

We are regular motor homers to Holland but on our way back to Ijmeudin to catch the ferry home, we stopped in at this site for the night and oh how we wished we had more time to stay longer. One of the best sites ever! Excellent service even although we only booked in for one night. Pitch spacious, tv reception ex, surrounding area beautiful, toilets immaculate, as per usual cycling amazing. We will def be back for longer next time.
