Great site very well looked after would not use the recommended route to the site. Use Hanley Swan down to Welland.
Very good for visiting local attractions
£14 a night worth every penny.

We stayed at Herberts Field for 4 nights in September 2018.
It was pretty wet during our stay, so only the hardstandings were being used, which was fine with us.
We don’t have much to add to the other reviews as they really say it all. The paddock area dog walk was welcome as was the security lock for the entrance gate.
The site was a bit too far from the Malvern Hills to walk to, so we moved the van to Swinyard car park & walked around & over British Camp & the Herefordshire Beacon. Superb views all round from the highest point.
Upton upon Severn is also close by with convenient parking [for a 7. 4m long motorhome!] with riverside walks along the River Severn.
£14 per night was just about right.

This was my first experience of using a CL having used Club Sites for the past two years. I can honestly say Herberts Field is everything I have been searching for. Adults only, large field, small number of caravans and good on-site facilities as a bonus. It is a nice, quiet site that has both hard standing and grass pitches should you want to feel the green beneath your feet. The owners are superb, friendly and accommodating. I so want to keep this place a secret, but I also want to shout about it too. I will be returning, if I can get a 'slot'.

What a fab site and such a friendly warm welcome, a huge field with plenty of room so you are not on top of each other, next to the road but we heard hardly any noise, very well sited to visit places of interest or to just relax on site, there are two lovely horses in the paddock that are very friendly, next to the EHU was a water hose so you can fill your water butt without going off your pitch, very convenient, the malvern hills are in eye view, we visited worster witch is quite a large town and interesting, upton on severn is also a nice place if you can pick a day when the shops are open, a lovely bicycle shop there, the owners are lovely, friendly, thoughtful I. E a basket of things you may have forgotten to bring, a nice touch.

If you wish to be on a owner friendly site this is the one to choose. The owners make you feel at home. The site is a caravan club cl but has excellent facilities hard standing for 5 or in good weather five grass pitches they all have an electric hook up also toilet with wash basin and an area with picnic bench. We will be back again
Upton upon Severn is a short distance away and has parking suitable for motorhomes but do not visit on a Monday as all the shops seem to be closed.

During the past summer we stopped using CLs due to rain and muddy fields preferring instead to use the main Blackmore CC site. We have now discovered this site which is conveniently located for us to visit local attractions and see friends. The fact that there are 5 hardstanding pitches is certainly a boon and a big plus point. They are easy to access and you have some hardstanding on either side of the caravan. Also plenty of room to park your vehicle without it being inconvenient to some one else. Site also has 5 grass pitches with hook ups which can be used in a dry summer. Owner only allows 5 caravans on at any one time so plenty of room to stretch out. Huge field adjacent where your dogs can run to their heart's content. Although the road can be busy, it is not overly noisy.
Site has a social area where you can BBQ and toilets with a wash basin are available. After arrival owners contacted us to make sure that everything is okay. There is a combination lock on the gate which helps with security. Definitely a site that we will be visiting often in the new year however as people get to know about the site, I think it will become quite popular.
