We spent 3 nights here, the weather was glorious sunshine until the morning we were going to leave and we had a shower of rain, which meant we packed the awning away wet. Dried out at home later in the day. We stayed in the top field with electric, the grass was cut short, lots of room for children to play, we were the only unit in the top field but there were some tents and the Bell tents had visitors. The site is quite dated with old facilities but all very clean, no dishwashing area but that wasn't a problem. There are a few tables and benches in the field that you can move about nearer your unit if you wish, overall value for money at £15 P/N with elec or £12 P/N without. This site is right next to the Main road, so you do have road noise all the time, also it can be difficult getting out of the site during busy times with traffic coming from both directions.

Stayed a week, weather was not great so will try and not let this cloud judgement of this site.
Caravans go in the first field as you turn in through the gate off a very busy A road. The road is busy all night lot of lorries going down to the docks I would imagine. It is extremely hard to turn right out of the site, due to constant traffic. Luckily turn left and just across the road is a big enough gateway to turn a car that is towing the caravan, we did.
Word of warning if the site is on your right the first sign you see takes you into the owners front yard. We found out to our cost as you can can not reverse to turn around without a motor mover. Why they have 2 signs up is beyond me.
Tents can camp in 3 different fields.
There are showers and toilets can not comment on them as used the one in the van.
There is a beautiful walk around the site through some woods and down to a pond and a stream.
Several times had to help dig people out who had got stuck. A motorhome came in and was stuck with in 30 seconds. There are no hard standings. Feel at £17 a night (with EHU) it was pretty expensive.
The campsite needed TLC, cutting the grass might help and definitely needs new signs.

Excellent value for money site. We paid £10 a night for a family tent without hook up. It's in a good area, close to lots of things to do, walks, theme parks etc. The site is basic but has a clean toilet, shower, but no washing up facilities yet. The top of the site is near to the main road but it is higher so in wet weather is probably more popular. We had a friendly welcome by the owner who explained where everything was and allowed us to choose where to pitch. There were lovely walks into the woods at the bottom of the site, we only ventured in once as the weather was so wet, in fact we only stayed for one night as we had an issue with our tent leaking and eventually tearing. The owner was kind and let us use some of their towels to mop up. Would def return in better weather.

We recently stayed in a bell tent at The Valley, the tent was great, but I wouldn't call it glamping! We do have our own tents, but due to lack of space decided to go for something already set up this year.
We had a 5' bell tent, which was big enough, but no ehu, and no carpets, basic camp beds, and a supposed futon bed.
The owners are extremely friendly, and will stop and talk, and provide you with anything that was missing from the pack that they provide - cutlery missing in ours!
There is one male, and one female toilet, and two showers in a separate cabin, although the cabin is set up for 4 showers, only two are currently in use, which is unfortunate.
The toilets themselves were clean, however the sink area was only ok, = no hot water, and no towels/papertowels or dryers provided. The men's area had no shelving or area to put towels or wash kits either. The showers were powerful but a bit on the small size.
Signage into the site could also be improved, as we went past the site several times, trying to find it, even when we had been there a few days! (Beware if going on an night, no street lights, and very difficult to see entrance)
The owners are still relatively new there, so maybe more improvements will be made as time goes by, only time will tell.
This was our first time at a Certified site, so maybe we were expecting more than we got.

Stayed at this site for 2 weeks because the reviews stated it was a quiet site.
On first arriving, we found the field to which we while to be pitched was right next to a busy road.
The tents are pitched in the next field down, which was much quieter, but no electricity.
The owners are friendly and offer any information required.
Showers and toilets are separated & we had to ask for the showers to be cleaned in our second week.
Nice walk around the site, you can join the public foot path which takes you down to the sea.
One day on returning, we found a 6 inch deep tench around our caravan, on asking we were told he was adding another electric point and thought he be finished before we got back.
Would we go back, no afraid not, it's okay for a stop over, but not long term.

We spent a lovely weekend at the Valley’s after watching the rugby international in Cardiff. It was early February so the site was quiet with only one other set of campers, a family in a mobile home. We stayed in the Static Caravan which was like brand new with a large lounge and well stocked kitchen. The owner kindly provided tea, coffee and fresh milk for our arrival because they knew we were arriving late. The view across the site from the lounge was very pretty. The owner and her family could not be more helpful and offered directions by foot to Amroth beach via the public footpath directly from the site. When my friend and I seemed unsure about the directions the owner and his son offered to walk with us all the way there to make sure we did not get lost. Nothing was too much trouble for them. When we got back they recommended a local Indian restaurant who delivered to the site and it was very nice. We will definitely look them up when we are back in the area and next time if we visit in the summer we hope to stay in a tee pee or one of their glamping tents.

Stayed here for 3 nights in our tourer. Had a thorough walk around with the lady owner who showed and explained all the site. Very friendly and very helpful. Toilet areas all well stocked with paper and very clean. The grounds are in a beautiful setting and the gentleman who owns the site cam home from work and spoke to us very knowledgeable and very well spoken. He gave us a lot of local info and was very nice to peak to could not help enough in fact.
On the Sunday morning he came round to our van and explained he and the family were popping out for a bit and was there anything we needed or anything he could help with. Perfect little getaway and perfect owners the children showed us their guinea pigs and we were made t feel very welcome. As far as we are concerned this was a lovely camp site. There were hammocks doted around and some lovely walks too. Highly recommended for those who like the peace and quiet and a relaxing holiday.
