We arrived on an extremely wet 13 Feb 2024, but everything was as advertised,

We're contacted by phone as to arrival details and found the site to be a great little site,

Not a lot else to say but thank you

Site access down a bumpy track, drive carefully. Very small field, private gated access.

Neighbours have dogs which barked loudly and constantly throughout the 3 days and nights.

Despite a secluded location, it was far from peaceful. We are writing this at 2am and will be leaving at dawn to go home and get some sleep!

What a delightful little site this is. Peaceful, clean, tidy and nicely sheltered by shrubs & trees. All pitches quite sunny, some very sunny.

Toilet & washbasin room well appointed and cleaning materials available for our use to help keep it nice for others who were sharing/following.

Chris & Yvonne were very helpful and everything was exactly as described.

A good base for easy cycling (but you do have to be careful to choose good routes to avoid/ minimise 'A' road usage if you go further afield. This is because of where the bridges are situated!)

Ely in comfortable reach by car, or car/bicycle well worth a visit.

I like to think we will be able to re-visit one day.

If you want a quiet peaceful location, which is miles from anything, this is the site for you. Nothing wrong whatsoever with the site, but access was not easy, the road from either way being very narrow, (don't think you would get an 8-footer down there), and in terrible condition, being up/down and huge potholes.

The site itself was clean and tidy, well maintained.

The site is very remote, there are no facilities within easy walking distance, although the Bridge pub at Wisbech St. Marys was worth the effort. If you can tolerate the road, it is not badly positioned for exploring Kings Lynn and close by. We found other sites local to this one which offered far more.

Lovely campsite. Handy for public transport and very clean. We booked for 4 nights but unfortunately had to leave after 2 nights due to interrupted sleep caused by a noisy cockerel next. Pity we were not informed when booking.

I won't go into reasons why we found ourselves without a campsite at dusk. We rang Chris who offered to come and meet us at the site. He was so helpful and organised a taxi to get us to a family meal. A leaflet showing all the area was helpful.

We needed one night only but will return for a 'proper' stay on this delightful little site. It's what little sites should be. One doesn't expect facilities on CS site but the toilet was clean and warm with clean towel hot water and soap.

Chris and his wife Yvonne know exactly what is needed - obviously caravaners themselves. The site is secluded but near to all local attractions.

Just had a wonderful weekend here. It's a very secluded site and unless you know about it would never know it was there.

The pitches are very level and as it's a CS site limited to the number of caravans/tents. Unfortunately the site does not have showers (not necessarily an issue if your in a motorhome or caravan) but does have a toilet, washing up sink (drainage into a bucket) and EHU pitches.

At £10 night (2013) we will definitely stay again when next in the area. I love CS sites as you can find real gems, this is yet another one.
