A really lovely site - incredibly quiet and away from it all. I'll definitely want to return. Slightly narrow access turn-in off the road, but site is easy to manage. Very clean and kept well. Good pub just up the road - Nantwich Swimming Pool just 5 miles away, and the town is lovely to walk round. Do go to Chester, though shops in the old town are pretty pricey. Erddig is a fascinating National Trust property with a short (40 mins) drive. Look out for roadside sales of garden produce and eggs. You can eat pretty cheaply around here if you really source locally! Haughton honey is superb! Visit Beeston Castle for a steep walk, if you want to feel virtuous!

We are at present on the site and what a gem. Quiet and how caravanning should be. The ground was perfect with the odd chicken running around. Field at the back so perfect for walking the dog. Only 5 pitches and feels just like your in the garden. Which is what we wanted.
There are no shops in the village but a mere 5 minutes drive brings you to a well stocked Coop. Butchers and Post office. Easy distance to a very pretty Nantwich.
Hope to return at £12 including electric a bargain. Own sanitation needed but not a problem.

A very neat, clean, peaceful site. Lovely flat, short grassed area, elsan, rubbish bins and fresh water and electric hook up.
Geoff is very welcoming and friendly.
Set amongst fields, it is quiet but well placed for cycling in the surrounding area.
The Nags Head is a gorgeous pub, just 200 metres up the road, serving well cooked, inventive meals for a reasonable cost.
A very pleasant, easy going place to stay, close to lots of interesting places, great value for money with friendly owners.
I would definitely recommend to anyone
