Unmanned site ( though there is a contct phone number) adjacent to Batemans brewery. Most pitches are on grass with electrical hookup (no hardstandings) and there is a rally field without EHU. It has a water point (that would be difficult for motorhomes to access), a CDP and a waste water drain. N
O washing up station. In the brewery car park adjacent there is 4 toilets, each with a shower and wash hand basin, that are door coded for the exclusive use of campers. They were cleaned daily and adequate for the number of units on site during our stay.
Wainfleet is a short walk away with a train station on the Nottingham/ Skegness line. The pretty town has 2 pubs, a cafe, a co-op, a pet shop and a number of takeaways. One day we caught the train to Skegness ( ok if you like that sort of amusement park resort) and the other did the brewery tour (recommended). Also recommended is Sunday lunch in the Woolpack pub.
We would return again as the site location is spot on but have marked it down 2 stars for being Unmanned and having no washing up facilities.

A caravan site at a brewery, what's not to love? We had a group booking that was supposed to cover the whole site, unfortunately the campsite did not close it's booking system and several other units turned up.
The site is unmanned outside of office hours and therefore not very secure. The toilets and showers are clean and modern.
A pretty location, next to the river and the brewery buildings are beautiful.
It is a short walk into Wainfleet and a short car ride into Skegness.

We stayed on this site for eight nights as part of a C&CC THS rally and thoroughly enjoyed it. Has ladies and gents toilets but the one shower is in the disabled toilet, despite this all toilets seemed to be cleaned hourly so were spotless throughout our visit. Excellent dog walks along the river banks and a dog bin on site. Open elsen was a bit smelly during our visit but it was emptied regularly and this was mainly due to the high temperatures this summer. Good site for a weeks stay and some noise from barrels being moved etc but handy for town and bus or trains to Skegness and Boston or beyond. Will be on our list of good sites.

I was a bit worried about this one after I had read the reviews on UK Campsites, how wrong they were, It is a working brewery, but we never heard any barrels being moved about, I did ask the gentleman on the bar and he said they have an emergency service, if required by the local pubs for two hours on a Saturday morning between 10 and 12, but rarely used.
We arrived Friday late afternoon to a YFR Rally.
We were directed to our pitch and shown the facilities, and then the best bit, off to discover the brewery, I was impressed by the windmill and how the bar was within it, we meant to go and look upstairs, but never got past the bar, but the very nice man on the bar told us all about it, so we will definitely look when we come again. It was National Beer Day on the 15th of June and this was extended over the weekend, so they had a happy hour or two on Friday with all beers at £2. 00 a pint, cheap enough to try all six, normally they do the 1/3 of a pint trial glasses so you can get three glasses to a wooden paddle so you can still try all six.
There is fishing available on a nearby lake, but we decided to head off into Skegness, we had a lovely walk round, found ice creams of all shapes and sizes and the best prices ever, and very nice they were too, we had a mooch around the shops and went to a very nice pub where you could sit in the sun and watch the world go by.
On the Sunday we had a walk in to Wainfleet, a lovely little village with some interesting houses and history, also a very convenient railway station, where you can jump on the train to Skegness very handy and well worth thinking about in the future.
We had Sunday Dinner, at the brewery which was absolutely lovely (my husband said it was the best carvery he’d ever had) and it was very reasonably priced.
All together a very peaceful and nice site, in our opinion well worth a visit definitely on the weekend.

Agree with first review
Metal Beer barrels rolling and stacking from early morning to late at night.
Disabled toilet the only shower - as 20 van rally - plus disabled occupants - not easy to get access.
Plane tree sap dripped all over roof canopy and seeds stuck all over van. Grass cuttings filled the shower/toilet area and carried into vans.
Twice told staff no toilet rolls - so have your own. Shower temp Ok.
River and fields means lots of flies and mosquitoes.
Station nearby/Town centre 5min walk for busses - good access.
Local Butcher has excellent produce - Chine (never seen before) - excellent. Local shops etc very helpful.
Personally would not return to site.

Pro`s. Nice place, friendly staff, pub/brewery on site, 20 x 16 A hook ups. Not a CL site anymore. Close to Skegness for day out at Butlins for the kids. Games on site for kids, fishing in river next to camp.
Con`s. Not a fully flat site, noise from the roads, noise from the brewery work early in the morning. Constant humming noise from one of the brewery buildings.
Only 1 shower in disabled toilet, ladies and gents toilet.
Grass was cut when wet and left a mess causing grass to be taken on shoes into caravan and car.
