 Love this site, compost toilet which is OK by me, a beautiful location.
Friendly people.
Love the chickens.
Great value for money. Have stayed here twice now and I definitely want to come back.

Came here with family in August, lovely site/surroundings. Children loved collecting wood for the open fire and spotting the deer, also making a rope swing between the tree branches. The site was very peaceful as they were only a few others here, it is popular with backpackers/walkers staying just overnight. You can pick your own spot to pitch your tent and any other awnings you may have, we made a canopy between the trees which gave us extra shelter on a rainy day. The site does not have any facilities [apart from water tap and a small camping portable potty] so if your looking for toilets/showers etc this isn't the site for you. But this is clearly stated on the website.
The owner was very friendly and helpful and came to the clearing each day to empty bins and portable loo.
We had only booked in for 2 nights but plan to return in 2018 and stay longer, this is a back to nature campsite and we love it. The scorings below are based on our expectations, the site for us being a wild camping experience was everything that we expected. WELL DONE ANNIE.
