 Quiet tranquil setting, only noise comes from wooden bridge, excluding the owls, sheep and cattle noises.
Toilets and showers are clean
Pitches are a decent size
For the price, cracking wee site and excellent value

Lovely little site straight off the A7.
We stopped here one night on a motorbike camping trip. We had the place to ourselves for the most part. We hadn't booked and were met by the owner who showed us where things were then left us to it, very laid back.
The site has 2 toilets and a shower, very basic but more than adequate for us and spotlessly clean.
The view up the valley to the hills is beautiful, campers are permitted to walk across the fields and there are sheep,
Goats and chickens, eggs are for sale.
It was £15 for the one night, really good value and we'll definitely stop over when we're passing through the area again.
Do have your midge repellent though, when the wind dropped and soon came out.

This site has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, it was our second visit this year,
The owners are so helpful and friendly it made our stays a pleasure.
The facilities are basic (but very clean, )perhaps because of this the site is not crowded, so offers plenty of space and privacy, which is an absolute bonus.
Camp fires are permitted, dogs are allowed and children can play, pretty much a perfect weekend. The area is fantastic for walking,
The campsite itself has a wonderfully dramatic hilly backdrop and a babbling brook at the border of the field,
All in all a pleasant experience.
