 We always stay here when we are going to catch the ferry, the port is just down the road.
Jill, has hens, sheep and other animals, great for children Jill is very accommodating. The site has views across farmland, there is 16 amp electric, easy access.
Coldred is a picture perfect village complete with a pond, real ale pub, with beer straight from the barrel.
A Tesco supermarket is close by and Dover has most things you might need.

We have stayed her every year since 2001 sometimes for 3/4 nights and again on our return from foriegn climates and would not stay anywhere else the owner JILL is most helpful the site is it a little haven well away from the main A road so very little noise but beautiful peace we love it 16 amp electric / elsan point / thunder box ( toilet ) fitted with sink and a local pub very near also. Sheep, hens pigs cows etc. Loads of space and and nice views I have always been a bit reluctant to tell others about this little gem of a place but all good things come to them who wait and now is the time to tell so try it and you will love it tell jill ian sent you

Just absolutely beautiful.
Clean toilets, in the countryside, sheep in the field opposite our tent.
Excellent hosts.
I even got to buy their fresh laid farm eggs.
Very close to Dover, for anybody coming/going to the port or Eurotunnel.
A lovely church, and a great pub in the local village, within walking distance, where you can bring a take away (eg local Indian curry, or fish and chips) and eat it in the pub serving local ale.
The campsite is very children and animal friendly. My daughter (aged 9) and our puppy (aged 4 months) loved it.
It is also close to Canterbury, local shops and a Tesco's, as well as petrol stations, etc.
Highly recommended.

Great site for stopover if getting ferry to France etc, but also good for few more days, but we only stayed one night no showers but there is a toilet, it is what it says on the tin a field with some electric hook up, , just keep going down the road to find it, price was good to, reluctant to tell you about this site as can imagine it would fill up quite quick,
