Chose this site because it was near a pub and near a bus stop. On arrival the owner was very friendly, but was busy with his new motor bike, so didn't show us where we could pitch, or explain about any facilities, just gave us a key to the shower.
The site has attractive fishing lakes, but has a generally neglected air, not very tidy with abandoned odds and ends around the buildings, and we saw 5 rats there in the two nights we stayed. The shower block is one mouldy unisex shower, and one gents, one ladies toilet. Ladies loo was clean, but lots of cobwebs and no soap, loo roll or towels. The Elsan disposal was in an old shed and disgusting.
This site Is mostly used by keen anglers, who presumably don't mind the basic facilities. With a bit of effort this could be a really nice campsite, there is a cafe which wasn't open when we were there, and they sell a few groceries in the reception. The pub across the road was OK, and it's only 10 minutes on the bus into Mablethorpe.
We won't be returning.

Ok the toilets was not that clean to start with and ran out of loo roll a lot and the showers were not to up to clean standard neither.
The waste water when you emptied it into where it should empty ended up flooding the ladies toilet which was not good.
The shop did not stock a lot of things neither.
The fishing was good.

Just stayed another 3 nights at this great site. There has been a few changes since our last visit.
The pitches are now separated by chains with lights at the end of the posts.
They also now sell locally grown vegetables, very reasonably priced, along with fruit, groceries and milk and at the end of June they will also sell papers.
The toilets have been newly painted. You can also get the internet in the cafe. The owners have been working very hard to improve the site.
We will certainly be back in a few more weeks.

This is our second visit to this site. We booked for 2 nights and stayed for 5. Pitched our caravan facing the lakes. Fishing is good with lots of big fish.
This site is nice and peaceful and all the owners are very friendly and helpful. There is a nice pub at the end of the drive which do nice meals and staff are very friendly. There is a little shop about 5 minutes walk away.
The site is about 3 miles from Mablethorpe where there is a Co-op and a Lidl. We will be back again next month. Can definitely recommend this site.

This is a nice 5 pitch site where the caravans look on to the lakes. We were greeted by one of the owners who showed us were to pitch our caravan, as the site was not busy we had choice of 4 pitches. There is a little cafe / tea rooms that serve a nice breakfast and home made cakes. There are toilets for men and women and a shower. There is also a tackle and clothes shop.
There is a pub across the road that do very nice meals at reasonable prices. Mablethorpe, Skegness and Chapel St Leonards are close by. All the staff are very friendly. We would recommend this site.
