Small campsite, wash block with one toilet and shower cubicle for male and one for female.
Electric hookup available and very laid back, simply phone ahead, turn up, choose your own spot as no reception or check in.
The owners come and find you for payment and to check all ok. Secluded site and a bit tricky to locate.
Would definitely visit again, picturesque view over fields.

Pleasant site with ehu, water and Portakabin containing 2 showers/ toilets which are kept clean.
Close to village pubs / shops, secure entry to site via locked gate.
Prices can be more than advertised, check prices before staying. We've stayed here every August since 2011 but at a recently quoted £25 per night for a certified site we've decided to go elsewhere this time.

A level but not flat site. A one acre field, lacking features. 2 toilets / showers in a hut type building. Cold during winter. Hot shower, but to get it to a decent temperature needed to reduce flow to not much more than a trickle. No dish washing area.
Notices threatening that toilets would be permanently locked unless kept clean and tidy; although I agree that people should treat with respect, I didn't like the attitude that the campsite owners were doing us a favour. We are, after all, paying customers; £15 per night, in fact.
Will not recommend or return

We used the site to test our newly purchased trailer tent and see how our children responded to their first night in a tent so it was chosen as it was close to home.
This is a lovely CL with plenty of space and surrounded by field. Clapham is an easy walk and has a number of decent pubs for drinks and food.
The site itself has plenty of room for children to play and not disturb others on the site. Combined with the cows and horses and the little ones loved it. Bedford is close by but not much to talk about but if you just want to get away to the country and relax then this site is good.
The toilet and shower on site were clean and better than I've experienced on other CL's.
