Peaceful site, well kept and excellent facilities including laundry and washing up facilities.
There are water taps on the electric posts. No shops within a good distance so supplies need to be brought with you.
The owners are lovely people and this is a very pretty site. We found all static owners to be very friendly and helpful.
Situated between Welshpool and Newtown and only 35 miles from the mid Wales coast.
The fishing lakes looked lovely although we haven't tried them yet. I could not get a phone signal (on EE).
One minor complaint! Please could someone oil the swing on the children's playground as it squeaks badly!
As we do not have children (or grandchildren) of a suitable age, I cannot give a real rating on child friendliness.
We have taken a seasonal pitch and look forward to spending more time here.

Tucked up away in the hills of Mid Wales, this is a great spot to head for if you enjoy the sounds of the countryside - sheep, cuckoos, the wind in the trees, the bubbling of the stream, that turns to a rushing sound after it rains, absolutely lovely environment to situate a campsite in.
The main focus of the site are clearly the static caravans, although there are hardstanding pitches for caravans/campervans, as well as a relatively level grassy area for tents.
The facilities are pretty good - sheltered and warm, which is great when it comes to showering on colder days/nights, and kept decently clean (even during the busiest periods).
The showers are fantastic, allowing you to control the temperature and the flow to an extent (although they tend to spray water onto the floor outside the cubicles.
Nice bright colour design and good artificial lighting makes it all quite pleasant. Dish and clothes washing facilities are present, including free use of hairdryers and fridge/freezer, both of which are/were very helpful.
My main complaints are ultimately quite minor - there were no drinking water standpipes that I could see, so filling up on water would have to come from the dish washing area, which is fine, but not always ideal.
Additionally, the site had multiple streetlight-high lights that appeared to run through the night, even on the area for camping, which is not always ideal when trying to sleep. Park far enough away and/or with a car blocking the light and this becomes much less of an issue.
The cost for the bank holiday was £20/night for one person/pitch, which all things considered was an ok price.
Overall really quite pleased with my stay here, and will certainly consider coming back here again if I ever find myself in the area, if for no reason but to enjoy the blissfully quiet nights.
Solid 8/10 site in my opinion.

Big static site with space for touring units (the owner will guide you through to the touring areas). Reasonably spacious pitches. Toilets are immaculate. Access is via a few miles of single track road. Make sure you follow their recommended route to the site - other routes will scratch both sides of a reasonable size car along hedges!
A real 'away from it all' location so bring food for a few days and enjoy the local walking!
Not the cheapest site, but good value.
