 We think the previous review might relate to Odissea camper park, Denia which is currently closed we believe.
This review is for Odissea camper park, Calpe.
We called here for a one night stop and stayed for a week! The owner of the site has a very clear understanding of the needs of motorhomers and it shows in the facility he has provided.
There is easy access to a level gravel site with clearly marked bays. All pitches have electricity & fresh water is available from the very well designed motorhome service area There are at least two chemical disposal points. Separate ladies and gents have two toilets & two showers(1euro/7 mins) & basins - all spotless and regularly cleaned. The pot wash area has 3 sinks but cold water only and there are 2 washing machines and a drier. Security is excellent & gates are securely locked at night, there is pedestrian access through a gate with key code. The owner/staff are multi lingual & very friendly.
There is an Aldi, Lidl & Merdcadonna supermarket within easy walking distance. Calpe has some beautiful beaches & promenades with many bars / restaurants to suit all tastes as well as a pleasant Spanish town with all amenities. There is a street market on Saturday which is quite 'colourful'! All is within 30mins or so easy walk from the site.
Whilst the pitches are not large, they are adequate for all but big RV's. Bearing in mind the nightly charge of 12Euros, reducing to 10 Euros for over 4 nights, then to 8 Euros for more than 30 nights - a bargain!
Why can't we have more sites like this? Absolutely First Class in every way, can't recommend enough!

Stayed with Ruben several times its not a campsite it only caters for motorhomes.
It is a nice clean parking area with well marked out pitches, enclosed in a walled area.
The price includes electric hook up 6Amp with 10amp available at extra cost, toilets and showers are clean and well maintained
The owners are a young couple who speak English very friendly and helpful.
Denia is a port with a fair sized town about 10k well served by bus.
There is a massive boot sale and a market close to the Aires, on separate days.
There is a small town close by (cycle distance)with a supermarket bank chemist and a very nice bar/cafe run by two Romania ladies.
Well worth a visit we will be going back this year (2013)

PS the Fallas held in March in Denia are spectical not to be missed (look it up)
