Peace and quiet. Super "dog friendly", fenced off enclosures freedom for dogs. Dog walks adjacent,
Uninterrupted electricity, water either on pitch or adjacent, key pad security gate.
Delightful owner and fellow users.
One of the best, with no danger from the anti-dog lobby!
Tight access road.

Everything from making the booking, paying the deposit, arrival and meeting Richard the owner on site, was 1st class.
The site has an electrically operated sliding iron gate which affords excellent security. Richard texts your personal entry code to you just before arrival.
Facilities for emptying both grey and black water were good. However, their is no drive over point, and the drinking water is not fit for actual drinking unless you boil it first.
Richard provides a very good arrival information pack which lets you know you can buy bottled water on site or at the local supermarkets.
The condition of the grassed paddocks is good and certainly provide an excellent run for your dogs. However, they slope quite a bit. No problem for caravans with a strong tow vehicle, but for us with a 7. 5m Motorhome, it was a bit of a challenge to level for comfortable sleeping.
Horley is a beautiful village and the surrounding countryside lovely.
Fabulous for dogs and those who like walking and visiting chocolate box villages.

What a peaceful campsite!
What a gem.
The village in which it is set is beautiful with a pub.
The campsite is entered via a secure key coded gate. There are several very special small paddocks, set up for those with dogs, to have a secure free space for their dog to explore.
When you arrive on site the dogs in the nearby paddocks tended to bark, but once settled in, calm is restored!
The paddocks were a good size.
Some were on a slight slope, but ours required no levelling.
Due to Covid there were no toilet facilities which is understandable.
We were given a warm welcome and were given an information pack about the area which was very useful.
We found it a super spot with plenty of local walks.

This is an amazing site situated in a lovely quiet village.
Each pitch is its own fenced in field. If you have dog/s or small children it is perfect as they can't escape and get hurt.
There are 2 pitches that are big enough to have a family group of multiple caravans/tents.
Richard is helpful and very funny.

We should have stayed 7 nights on this very pleasant site, however the weather wasn't very pleasant (torrential downpours) and the pitch became quite soggy so we came home early.
We had a few problems with our caravan whilst there but both Richard and Mike were extremely helpful.
We loved the fenced in pitches and there was a four mile circular walk straight from the site.
Unfortunately, due to Covid, the facilities were not open but it was a lovely site and we will be returning in the not too distant future.

Two words - Perfect & Peaceful !
Your own paddock with gate - electric hookup and water.
Richard the owner goes above and beyond to help with any problems or questions you may have, also goes round disinfecting all gate handles etc helping to keep you safe.
Excellent free wi-fi (best I have ever had on a site)
Great walks around outside of the site.
And we are booked in again as my wife and I felt so relaxed here.

Fabulous site and excellent dog facilities!
Each pitch (or paddock) has its own fence and gate, so this means our 4 legged friends can run around and play causing no concerns for their humans! It’d be amazing if all sites were like this!
Also great walks nearby.

As this was my first trip and I am a solo caravaner I did expect a few problems. That a how it turned out!
The site has a pleasant location in pretty gentle Oxfordshire hills. Plenty of wonderful country pubs within walking distance.
All the five pitches are grass and as the weather was awful access and departure was a challenge.
The motor movers were useful but they failed to get the caravan off the pitch.
Richard, who runs the site, saved the day with his tractor which got me onto level land and poised ready to depart.
It was of course a steep learning curve for me and and Richard was always about to help. I will visit again but when the weather improves and it is dryer under foot.

This is a great site, the pitches are huge and each pitch has its very own large fenced garden. Absolutely perfect if you have a dog. We stayed here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
It's a perfect base for walking with lots directly from the site, there is of course the battlefield walks that take in the Battle of Edgehill there is also an award winning pub in the village that serves amazing local ales. The site is basic but has everything you need including a luxury portaloo.
The site is close to Banbury if you are in need of retail therapy. There are some lovely pubs within walking distance, ours is the Dunn Cow. This pub serves amazing home made meals, really worth the walk.
