 Right in the village of Bloxham, about 3 miles from Banbury, this site is situated behind a set of farm buildings and in front of a golf driving range which the family own. The field itself is on a slight slope and well mown, but surrounding it are piles of old farm machinery, soil, hedge clippings etc. The farm itself that you pass through is not that well kept either. The golf driving range did not bother us very much, though it does generate a bit of traffic. I guess in bad weather you could use the car park as hard standings for your unit. There are no hook-ups even though there is power to the golf range behind - it would not cost very much for power points to be supplied. There is a toilet but it is not very clean - rely on what you have aboard! But for £7 a night it is still good value.
On the positive side, the owners are friendly, and the situation is good. Walking distance to shops and pub in the village, and an hourly bus to Banbury and Chipping Norton. It is adults only - there are so many hazards around the edge of the site and cars going up to the golf range that it is impracticable for children.
