Previously known as Meadowlands it is now called Kelsey Wood Country Park and is now an adult only site catering for seasonal pitches and holiday lodges only. Very impressed with the size of this camp site. There are a number of different fields in which to stay. Some with hard standings, some just grass, but lots of EHU points.
This is suitable mainly fot adults. - no play facilities for kids.
The site is actually part of the old WW2 airfield, RAF Spilsby. That's probably why there is so much room.
The toilet facilities are a bit dated, being an oldish portacabin, with separate ladies and gents loos and wash basin, but a single unisex shower. The shower has recently been tiled and is perfectly good with free electric power. In fact, the toilets were as clean as you could expect from a portacabin of this vintage. Not sure if there are enough facilities if they were busy.
There are LOADS of nearby attractions, and of course the East Coast beaches aren't far away too.
Very reasonable prices too, and superb local walks.
