 We stayed two nights, mid week, in a camping 'shed' booked online via Wigwam Holidays. Total cost £110.
This is a remote, rural spot on a working sheep farm south of Ruthin. The wooden chalet was amazing - glamping standards with mattresses on the beds ( I suspect room for 2 adults and up to 3 children), a toilet + washbasin, heater, fridge, kettle & a washing up sink. There was plenty of storage space under the beds. There was also a communal shower block & a fully equipped kitchen/dining room including a microwave (Welsh: popety ping!) Firepits and logs were available as an extra.
There was space for tents but no electric hook up.
Hard to fault - I am sure we will return - but maybe some new shower curtains and a chair/stool available for those less agile when getting dressed would be helpful?

Lovely, small and quiet campsite. We came with our tent but the wigwams on site looked fantastic. This was such a beautiful spot and the tent area was limited- meaning there could never be hoards of campers! The field was relatively flat and clear of stones. The kitchen and dining area was clean and well equipped, with dishes and cooking utensils and washing up liquid. There was a dining table for about 6 people, which as tenters we appreciated- April camping is a bit chilly and having somewhere indoors was helpful. The toilets and showers were also very good and clean. This site would be ideal for group bookings because the site was small enough for a large group to book out the whole thing. Nice owners.

Will go again. Very friendly. Close to a near by town and other places to go. Very clean toilets and shower block. Also has a kitchen you can cook in with fridge. Would recommend to any one looking for a good camping holiday. Beautiful views of the countryside and natural walks. Dog friendly. Child friendly. Very close to a local pub. The nearest town is Ruthin which has a Tesco and co op, which is also a historic town with various things to do.
