Site is set in a very quiet location and has a rural feel but actually is only 15 mins from the centre of Norwich.
The owners are exceptionally nice people.
Pitching area measures very approximately 60m x 25m, has one simple hardstanding and, for the most part, is not quite level. There are two very conveniently located water points and chemical disposal is just off the pitching area. The recently completed shower (£1, honesty box) / wc is at the end of a nearby barn. In CL terms, these facilities are excellent and the thoughtfully provided toiletries better that some hotels!
There is a small duck pond with a bench seat which I’m sure is a nice spot on a summer evening.
Dog friendly (£1 / night). However, it is essential that your dog is kept on its lead due to the sheep in the adjacent meadow and their electrified fence. The owners have mapped out three footpath walks for you and your pet to enjoy.
Within half a mile is a farm shop for your basics (we did not use it), and a Budgens supermarket in nearby Poringland.
To sum up: A peaceful CL with excellent facilities and nice owners.
